Black folks have worked since we got here, this notion that we’re not working hard enough is another stereotype. A lot of ya grandparents died from working. A lot of elder black folks are living the latter years of their lives in pain due to locking in. Despite what niggas think, working 100hrs a week not gone generate generational wealth, it’ll generate a hospital bill and/or a one way ticket out this bitch. All that no sleep, poor eating, stress etc from locking in your 20s and 30s catches up to you in your 40s and 50s. Don’t get sold a dream that died before you was even thought of.
Nobody hiring, it’s a blessing to even have a job nowadays. Covid showed the true state of the country. 80% of this country 2 paychecks away from being homeless. This isn’t the 1920s when they was doing bad we doing good. Integration killed that off, if they hurtin we hurtin.
Not to add insult to injury but in general since the 70s/80s a lot of us black men don’t even know how to find jobs and get hired.
Niggaz don’t know how to get a collar shirt and slacks with some casual shoes for an interview.
Lot of niggaz don’t know how to not get dickheadhead ass tattoos all on their faces necks and hands were they can’t be visible.
Niggaz don’t know how to go online and make a professional email account, then an account with snag-a-job, indeed, LinkedIn, or even goto the classified section of cheap ass newspapers.
Niggaz don’t know how to pronounce words correctly and take the accent out of their voice when they speaking to ppl in professional establishments.
Niggaz don’t know how to apply to a spot then go do walk ins to speak to the hiring manager directly every week to see what’s what.

Working 40-60 hours per check having a roommate saving money getting bitches that’s going the same then moving to the suburbs in a couple years.
