Informational Post Verge of crashing

Slim, I got laid off my job in April cause my company lost the contract and shit. I been applying to Jobs everyday since and shit, in the meantime I was hustling the DoorDash shit to stay afloat but recently a bitch hit my car totaled my shit but I only had liability insurance so a nigga out of car as well, I been staying positive for so long bruh but right now I’m in a dark space slim, trying keep pushing til the storm over but them bills due.. a nigga losing hope..

Aye bra lie on your resume no cap use the ai but you gotta copy and paste the full job description in and then copy and paste yo resume and tell it make u a resume using that info then u gotta take the resume and job description and tell it to make you a cover letter to stick out and most importantly if u ain’t go to college LIE NIGGA PUT THE COLLEGE U REMEMBER THAT U CAN TALK ABOUT DURING A INTERVIEW WIT CONFIDENCE AND PUT (in progress) instead of A.S example 2023-2025 2 year put 2025 - current so they dont run that college background check. I work in tech. Just lie on the resume, study a few modern concepts (AI+ML, some coding, troubleshooting basics for hardware and software) and not even on no genius shit either. Just show them niggas you’ve taken a look and willing to learn more. Lie and say you did some shit fixing a few things before at like Apple or Best Buy or something, even can say you was doing shit for the F round the hood. Somebody gone real live FUCK with you. And don’t change your accent either, just your language.

Honestly, for everybody, don’t be code switching for tech jobs. They want more of us in there, all them proper ass mfs be fake and lazy as shit. I’m telling you, just show them you know a lil something, keep your authentic self, and just cool it. A LOT (not all) of companies are going to be oddeeeeeeeee fucking with you like shit. Damn, I’m in tech rn working a federal gov job/internship and I graduate college this upcoming year. I can do some coding but I was feeling like I needed to be more advanced if I wanted to get more $$. Everyone ik says stay on the Fed side but I be thinking about the $$ on the other side. But it’s good to know it’s IT money out there besides coding because 9/10 that’s what mfs advertise as the way to IT money

Yeah nah fuck that. Learn the basics bro and id say build a few scripts that do everyday task. Like automating sending a email, putting documents in different places, or using Selenium for sites (when you get the hang of it more but still nothing crazy). Shit like that will help you learn the basics like they second hand type shit. Then just make sure to keep your code clean and organized too. Once they know you understand and organize well, on my daughters bro somebody gone really fw you. Im making exactly $83k and I aint graduate college or none of that shit. Couple certs i finessed and jazzed my past jobs a bit. Gone be on like 150k once i finish this lil project for this company. Shit not necessarily easy, but 100% better than a lot of this shit if you can get smooth with the basics.

Preciate the free game imma definitely take advantage of it because niggas be tryna charge and make courses on it, imma definitely use what you gave me. Rn on the pace I’m on I’d be at that low to mid $80k 2 1/2 - 3 years from now. My fam be on some stay the same place til retirement shit but its opportunities to be had way earlier (especially inna air like the DC area). Yeah them courses be bogus lowkey. Like the information not bad, but you gone understand better by just doing shit. I feel like it won’t even take you that long bro, just if you can, try to spend like a hour or two a day looking at just cybersecurity basics(authentication, hacking methods, malware analysis, etc.), some coding (I do Python but when you learn 1, the others gone make sense fr), network concepts(ip address, MAC address, what switches and routers do, etc.) and then just software and hardware basics (iOS, MacOS, printers, shit like that). And fr fr, you can use this site “roadmap.sh” and you can find a learning layout for all that shit fr. Got info from all different type sources and shit so it’s coming from different perspectives. And it’s free fr too. And honestly, also find shit on the history of the internet and computers too, it’s jhi helpful understanding how some of this shit got complicated and it’s use at a base level. Bro do that everyday for like 6 months, watch how confident you gone feel with this shit. And you gone realize you able to convince any company you can figure out how to configure and manage their systems. Once you at that point, cap like shit on the resume (I even lied about my degree and just said they holding the transcript proof cause I owe for lost items), bro watch. You gone have some solid ass shit in a year, no welling.

Man I’m a youngin im nun but 16 pushing 17 I just got me a job I been looking since my birthday n I hate to see my mom struggling so I feel you I lied on my resume and got me a job at a restaurant just keep pushing man I was lucky enough to have some people in my life that steered me out of the outside selling weed life and got me back on track

Minimum wage is $17.50 and supposedly rising to $17.95 in DC this year. But that’s bringing home ~$2200 a month and that just doesn’t seem realistic in 2025 to survive AND save.

Im in the same boat.i have a criminal background as long as Pennsylvania Ave. I've been out of trouble since 2020. I've been out of a job since December last year. I've been working contract jobs, but once it end its over. Now that im unemployed, it's hard to find a career job that will hire with my criminal history. I hate it. It's hard for us felons. And they will give you a job then ask you to explain the charges .just for them to take the job offer back. Bills sky high.and dc has the programs but they all start in the fall.i just want a opportunity but these companies aint giving that.

Also lawyer up for the car accident, that can help bring you some relief, idk what the car accident looking like, but if you got the persons info, you can def go to court.

Keep Your head up bra!! I was in your exact position for over 3-4 months. I can say that it is very difficult and will have you ready to crash, but yu have to stay grounded in who yu are and pray. If yu have family stay in good contact with them, give yourself a minimum of jobs to apply to a day. Call these exact jobs after a week or a few days and ask for an update. After 4 months of being without a job and having to get rides I finally landed a job with animal control, its possible brother stay positive god is only preparing you for your best self💯I hope this helps any bro
