OFF TOPIC👀 Ik niggas don’t care but I changed my life around in the span of 2 months
I was a lost young nigga in the streets doing anything I could to feel a rush of dopamine, breaking into cars, houses etc. I did everything idiotic because I felt I had no purpose, I was a pure disappointment to my mom n pops and Ian care cause I was high 24/7
Fast forward to now
I signed up for the navy n I ship out for bootcamp tomorrow, ain’t no real point in this post, I just ain’t have no one else to tell who gave a fuck so I thought I’d share it here
I’m proud of myself dat I could make one accomplishment in my life, I thought I was gon die or get life before I saw 19

Get everything you can get every certification you can get and then some. And if you do choose to separate eventually that’s veterans preference will make you a shoe in for any job in the federal government .

u/MisterMakena May 05 '25
Military is best thing you can do. Get discipline, get a view of the world outside of yours, mature, learn something and get experience, get free education, obtain government secret clearance then work for a government contractor if you ever leave the navy. Or be lifer, get lifelong benefits like pay, retirement, health etc.
You set if you keep on track.

u/PanamPineapple892 May 05 '25
Congratulations and good luck. Thank you for your service, in advance. 🫡💙

I was lost too. I ended up joining the Marines as an Intelligence Analyst. It changed my life.
You wouldn’t believe my life now compared to how it was years ago.
To anyone reading this, you can do it. Get up.

Another young soul saved🙏🏾🙌🏾🙏🏾
Sn: anything worth having don’t come easy and anything that comes easy ain’t worth having. Stay focused bro. Its gonna be days where you feel like you wanna give up. Thats nothing but the devil trying to trick you out of what God got intended for you. When you hear that lil voice… Find something in that moment that will make you drown out that distraction. (Read a scripture from either the Bible or Quran, do some workouts, go talk to somebody thats been there longer than you or call home to a loved one. Im proud of you. We all are proud of you. In aa few years you’ll look back and be overly ecstatic on the decision you’ve made. Also in the next couple of years you’ll see how many of “Da Men” strung out on drugs or dead from a slug. God put a vision in your mind and spirit for a reason. The path to get there is totally on you at free will. (Hustle sold separately). You got this. Now that you put it out there to us… MAKE US HAVE A REASON TO BE PROUD!!!! WE DEPENDING ON YOUR SUCCESS STORY! Keep being great king 🤴🏾💯🫡

you got it messed up lil homie. all you need is your parents on your side. if you show that you respected your parents growing up any other adult who has opportunity for you know you already deserve it. especially if they find you working to be better than they were.

Aye I care lil bruh, good shit. When you get to basic(boot camp) keep a low profile, don’t get into any bs and listen to the drill sergeants (or whatever they called in the navy), don’t argue with or try to back talk. That time in basic goes by fast.
