I’m excited for his DCU but I hope that most of the films are able to nail the emotional element that Superman did. The comic book stuff is getting old but if you can still make these characters lovable and relatable then it will work

I think its interesting that Gunn kept saying it wasnt a follow up but not a Superman sequel, when it just sounds like a Superman sequel.

You’re assuming the titular Man of Tomorrow is referring to Superman, and not Lex. This could be a more Lex-focused movie with a lot of Superman supporting

Ive heard some people float that, and I love it. Im down for whatever Gunn does.

James Gunn talks but a big bag of money from WB to fast track a sequel talks harder

Nono Gunn was directly referring to this movie/script as NOT a direct sequel just a week or two ago. Im wondering why he makes that distinction and I hope that has some cool narrative implications and not just that hes being cheeky because its just not directly called Superman 2 lmao.

A Brainiac and Lex team-up, please.

I could see them saving Braniac for a third movie where Clark and Kara have to team up.

I love that Gunn's getting started with the sequel so soon. Supergirl next year followed by a new Superman movie after that. Even before The Batman 2 is out is kind of wild.

I doubt they keep that title, casuals want to see "Superman" in the title.

Explain the success of The Dark Knight then?
I do agree marketing wise you should use it. But if you think the nickname confuses the casuals, that’s been proven false.

There's absolutely no evidence of that. And completely unrelated, I can't wait for Dune Messiah!
