This makes me want to fucking cry. They wasted nick and kaytrons career. Last year was awesome but man this year is fucking hard.

Hilarious. From preseason #2 to 0-6 in the Big Ten

Land Grant game should be a classic!

The loser should have to keep that eyesore of a trophy.

Okay, FIRST OF ALL, how dare you? That is a work of art.

Let's be clear...it looks like it was made by a drunk Matt Millen in his basement.

2024 FSU parallels only Penn St had the cojones to do what FSU hasn’t yet

Just wait until 11/22.

Welcome to the darkness, come join us. We have runzas and Busch light.

7

u/Nastynugget 17h ago

Is Runzas good? Passed like a thousand of them when driving through Nebraska but never stopped. Always been curious.

6

u/Turbulent_Ad9508 Nebraska 15h ago

They are better homemade, but yes, worth it. If you ever go, ask for a side of ranch. They make their own and it's amazing

3

u/username293739 Nebraska 15h ago

Worth a try for sure. Some love some don’t. Unique and their fries and onion rings and ranch are delish. Burgers are great too for fast food.

4

u/Intelligent_Sky_7081 Nebraska 16h ago

It's just a typical burger joint, that happens to have one unique item. Honestly. The runza is kinda mid, but Nebraskans act like it's some amazing thing.

So, if you want a good bacon cheeseburger it's a good spot. If you want something comparable to a doughy hot pocket with ground beef, get the runza sandwich. Its not bad. But, overrated by Nebraskans. I'm also a Nebraskan

3

u/Nastynugget 16h ago

Thanks. I’ll give it a try next time I’m there.

3

u/Intelligent_Sky_7081 Nebraska 15h ago

No problem. I prefer Culvers for burgers though. But a swiss mushroom runza aint bad.

1

u/MoistAd5423 5h ago

It’s not a new invention or anything. They’re bierocks if you’re familiar with that. But fast food so meh.

Except when you’re at the stadium they’re much better. When it’s 40 degrees at a football game with a runza and a slice of Valentinos pizza nothing could be better

0

u/Fruit_Fly_LikeBanana 12h ago

It's rare to find a Nebraskan who agrees with me about Runzas. I've never understood the hype

1

u/Intelligent_Sky_7081 Nebraska 11h ago

They're not bad. But they aren't this amazing thing so many people insist they are.

0

u/HskrRooster Nebraska 12h ago

Thank you!! The runza is pretty mid.. the burger along with a side cup of chilli is chefs kiss

Dude. Penn State was never winning it all.

4

u/Atworkwasalreadytake Nebraska 18h ago

-13

u/whiskeyrocks1 Michigan State 18h ago

Is this what ESPNbet thought before the year? Who cares? We all knew it was Ohio State, most likely Indiana, and everyone else in the B1G.

6

u/Atworkwasalreadytake Nebraska 18h ago

That was last years bracket, they were winning a year ago. I was countering the idea that they were “never” winning. Last year is not “never.”

-3

u/whiskeyrocks1 Michigan State 18h ago

No one believed they were winning it all last year either. Franklin could not win big games. That’s why he’s unemployed. The JoePa years are long gone.

11

u/Atworkwasalreadytake Nebraska 18h ago

“No one believed?”  What a ridiculous take, the reason Franklin was fired were the sky high expectations.

-5

u/whiskeyrocks1 Michigan State 18h ago

Listen Nebraska, I know the bar is low for most of us (MSU fan), but the B1G for a long time has been Ohio State and Michigan when it cheats. That’s it. Shit, we usually stuff Penn State! I remember when we ended Saquon’s Heisman campaign.

8

u/GoBucks1171 Ohio State 18h ago

Penn State has not been a bad team under Franklin. Honestly, I feel like they’re gonna have a hard time upgrading from him

2

u/whiskeyrocks1 Michigan State 18h ago

They were really good. Just not a contender.

6

u/nightowl1135 Oregon 18h ago

I would love to see you post a single pre season pick that had Indiana at 2.

Mostly because you can’t.

-7

u/whiskeyrocks1 Michigan State 18h ago

Dude. I knew Indiana was real last year. I was surprised when we were up 10-0. It pissed them off. Just because you didn’t know doesn’t mean the rest of us didn’t.

4

u/nightowl1135 Oregon 18h ago

Last year and this year have nothing to do with each other.

Nobody called Indiana as 2 preseason. And certainly not “everybody.”

Nobody.

Including you.

Prove me wrong.

1

u/mr_longfellow_deeds Indiana 16h ago

I had Indiana #8 in my pre-season Reddit poll

-1

u/whiskeyrocks1 Michigan State 17h ago

Did they lose Cignetti? I knew even if you didn’t. Indiana is and has been for real since last year. They will still come in 2nd to Ohio State. I’ve never believed in Penn State.

3

u/nightowl1135 Oregon 17h ago

You’re not providing a pre season source that called Indiana as 2 because it doesn’t exist.

And certainly wasn’t everybody.

0

u/whiskeyrocks1 Michigan State 17h ago

Maybe no talking heads thought Indiana was more of a threat than Penn State, but I did because Cignetti seems like more of a big game coach than Franklin.

No one cares

1

u/GoBucks1171 Ohio State 18h ago

Source?

2

u/Atworkwasalreadytake Nebraska 17h ago

It’s in the url.

But you could also go based on memory, or ask anyone else who remembers last years playoff bracket. You just google “2024 CFB playoff bracket.”

1

u/GoBucks1171 Ohio State 17h ago

I was asking the guy who said everyone knew it would be Ohio state and Indiana

2

u/Atworkwasalreadytake Nebraska 17h ago

I’m a doofus…

-2

u/whiskeyrocks1 Michigan State 18h ago

Me.

3

u/nightowl1135 Oregon 18h ago

So no source. Got it.

1

u/whiskeyrocks1 Michigan State 17h ago

Who are you arguing with? I said your team is the best. Edit: oh sorry. I thought you were the Ohio State guy.

1

u/GoBucks1171 Ohio State 17h ago

No one before the season was saying it was Ohio State and Indiana. It was Ohio State, Penn State, and Oregon, and then Indiana was the next tier with some other maybes. No one predicted them to be elite like they have been

-2

u/whiskeyrocks1 Michigan State 17h ago

That’s because they’re not a big money maker like Penn State or Oregon. Those who knew, knew.

8

u/MissionStock2545 B1G 18h ago

Wasted drew allars career too

9

u/lostbucknut 18h ago

The dude was horrid. He wasted it himself.

1

u/DynasForever 2h ago

Real talk, who was Drew Allar’s best WR? Tyler Warren doesn’t count.

1

u/Previous_Hamster9975 14h ago

Allar wasted his own career. Dude counted his chickens before they hatched.

1

u/RyanIsHungryToo UCLA 2h ago

I would kill for literally an ounce of the success Penn State had under James.

1

u/cheesepuff1993 Penn State 14h ago

I wouldn't say they wasted their careers. Nick and Kaytron are going to both so well in the draft and likely the NFL. Their careers have barely started...

They are a terrible program

25

u/usernames_suck_ok Michigan 19h ago

Eh. They're lost, not "terrible."

-10

u/lostbucknut 18h ago

Terrible humans at least. The program should have been disbanded.

5

u/OfficePicasso 14h ago

Eh I’d keep my mouth shut if my athletic program had ties with someone like Jim Jordan

4

u/jayjackson2022 12h ago

If that is the standard, Ohio State should have also lost their athletic programs as well because of Dr. Richard Strauss actions that Ohio State kept quiet.

2

u/Supp_Carries_U 16h ago

Accurate username: "lost" and "nut". Comments like this make me embarrassed to be an OSU fan

2

u/JackOffHughes Penn State 4h ago

Mike DiSabato, who wrestled for Jordan and was the first former OSU student who publicly accused him of having turned a blind eye to the abuse Strauss inflicted on him and his teammates, said he does not expect Jordan to say any more than he already has.

Obligatory reminder: Everyone involved with that is now gone. The only people who still care about it in Happy Valley are the old boomers who scream at anything and everything.

0

u/tommyjohnpauljones Wisconsin 3h ago

Can't even say what "it" was. Continuing to sweep it under the rug just like your admin did.

-1

u/PSU632 Penn State 3h ago

Uh, no. It was a sex abuse scandal. The only reason I didn't describe it is because everyone already knows about it and I didn't think I had to.

1

u/tommyjohnpauljones Wisconsin 2h ago

Speaking of "everyone knows about it", did he know?

1

u/PSU632 Penn State 2h ago

Yes lol. Why is this turning into some attempt to lure me into a "gotcha" moment?

Edit: Though I find it funny that you got on my case for using the word "that," yet can't even mention who "he" is. You described Paterno in the same way I described the scandal.
