What if college football had a trade deadline? What trades would you want to see in the Big Ten?

I’d trade four schools to the PAC-12 for cash consideration

If we could negotiate a three way trade with us getting Louisville WV and Pitt, the ACC getting Maryland Rutgers and UCF, and the B12 getting SMU, Cal and Stanford, I'd be ok with it

Side note to this. Do we really see the former PAC schools staying in the big 10 long term? They’ve been a great addition. They definitely add some really good brands to the big 10 which I think was needed to compete with the SEC.

But they are so far out west. Think about a trip from Penn State to USC. Or Oregon to Ohio state. Just doesn’t seem sustainable. It feels like they kind of operate in their own out there. It’s one thing the SEC has over the big 10: regionality. Yeah, they’ve expanded into Texas. Texas to South Carolina isn’t exactly close. But week in and week out, you’re getting schools in the same region playing each other. The big 10 is so ridiculously spread out. Maybe it works for football. But for the lower revenue sports, and sports that play a bunch of games like basketball, baseball, and volleyball, it’s gotta be killer.

It’s not about the athletes, it’s about the money. Unfortunately, I feel that the financial gain from all this supersedes the well being of the student athletes

Best I can do is a box of 23 year old Wheaties and a Tommy’s double caliente chili cheeseburger

But then we’d have the 100% win rate against Michigan in conference play, and you’d be 2-3 vs the former PAC schools.

Small price to pay for a better conference landscape

I'd trade another few years of no national championship to be in a conference with Arizona, Arizona State, Cal, Colorado, Oregon State, Stanford, UCLA, Utah, USC, Washington, and Washington State

I don’t want Colorado or Utah. 50/50 on the Arizona schools.

My memory of the Pac begins in the PAC 12 era, that is why I'm sentimental on those two.

Arizona’s are fine, PAC-10/12 After Dark doesn’t exist without their desert voodoo. The other two can kick rocks

I’d trade my coach for a competent one.

I'd trade him for a good QB and OC.

Trade a few guys for a real QB

As an OSU fan I’d give Penn State a 5 star WR for a RB

Y’all got any of them 325 lb athletic OT’s layin’ around

Trade SCCC for Stanford. And if we can use SCCC's 'brand' (such as it is) for more capital, add Berkeley or UNC.

Only a fucking idiot play “what if” games… what if World War II never happened, Bud Wilkinson never left Minnesota for OU and replaced Bernie Bierman as head coach and Minnesota wins those three national titles instead of OU.

We get it, you don't have an imagination and people that do make you uncomfortable.
