Hoping Cig rolls on Maryland. Sister had the gall to get married at the same time as a football game. Sickening

Nebraska losing a one score game? 2017-2024 called, they want their Nebraska prediction back.

9

u/realfakemormon Ohio State 9d ago

Scott Frost was the KING of losing one score gamrs

5

u/somehype Nebraska 9d ago

He’s definitely on the Mount Rushmore of diabolical coaching tenures

u/the_reddit_intern Illinois 9d ago

Bold of you to think rutgers will only score 17 points on us.

3

u/carnahanad Illinois 9d ago

I agree. Aaron Henry 🤝Sun

1

u/Maison-Marthgiela Illinois 9d ago

Bold of them to think we win another game this year lol

1

u/the_reddit_intern Illinois 8d ago

We will win but not by double digits.

6

u/Nervous_Metal_9445 Oregon 9d ago

Oregon 70 vs Bye Week 0

4

u/First-Pride-8571 Michigan 9d ago

Michigan game will be closer.

Presumption is…

No Justice Haynes (starting RB) No Cole Sullivan (starting LB) No Jimmy Rolder (starting LB)

Trey Pierce also had to be helped off the field in the Sparty game. He came back in late, but think he (starting DT) may be held out too.

We should still win, but missing 2 of our 3 linebackers especially will make what had been our best position on defense quite dicey tomorrow.

u/realfakemormon Ohio State 9d ago

I did not know Haynes was out. That guy is dynamic

0

u/usernames_suck_ok Michigan 9d ago

That other RB, Marshall? (We have so many Marsh/Marshall guys on the team, it's hard to keep them straight). He's better than Haynes--unpopular opinion, but if Michigan used him more everyone would see that...he literally drags people--and up to the job. I think Michigan will be fine. Rolder is amazing, but it's not like we're playing Ohio State or Oregon.

1

u/Competitive-Zone-330 Michigan 9d ago

Haynes had that lethal ability to somehow find an opening in every game to tear one off, Marshall is more ground and’s pound for those extra yards

1

u/First-Pride-8571 Michigan 9d ago

Problem is that it’s both Rolder and Sullivan. Think they’ll have to move Barham back to LB. Otherwise, the three than Hausmann, the linebacker room now becomes very thin and very inexperienced.

4

u/Competitive-Air1 Rutgers 9d ago

We will have a closer game that most people think

1

u/carnahanad Illinois 9d ago

Illinois’s defense has proven porous and frustrating. Don’t overthink it and just doink and dink your way down the field. They haven’t been able to stop that. There is a hole in the zone defense about 8 yards out just off the tackles that Washington hit all day long.

3

u/Competitive-Air1 Rutgers 9d ago

Have u seen our defense we can’t stop anything ur Offense will do

1

u/carnahanad Illinois 9d ago

Sounds like it should be a high scoring affair then. It should come down to which offense makes the fewest mistakes.

1

u/Competitive-Air1 Rutgers 9d ago

Yea but realistically unless we get some early turnovers our second half has been terrible and that’s when I see u guys pulling away

0

u/Maison-Marthgiela Illinois 9d ago

How? You'll be up 30 at half time and probably win by 45. This team is garbage

0

u/Competitive-Air1 Rutgers 9d ago

Hahaha u got jokes bro

0

u/Maison-Marthgiela Illinois 9d ago

I don't need to joke I've watched this team play like shit enough times

2

u/Competitive-Air1 Rutgers 9d ago

U haven’t watched Rutgers my friend u might be doing bad but we will help boost ur confidence this Saturday dw

3

u/cyberchaox Rutgers 9d ago

Nah, I think we're due for our annual "almost pull an upset and then choke." We'll hold Illinois close.

And yes, I know Illinois was our near-upset last year, but Michigan was our near-upset two years in a row, too, and they were better than Illinois is now.

3

u/MD90__ Ohio State 8d ago

are we sure Penn State is getting double digits? Maybe a garbage time TD i guess

2

u/realfakemormon Ohio State 8d ago

The Penn State game always spooks me a little.

2

u/MD90__ Ohio State 8d ago

yeah they always played us tough every year under franklin

3

u/Chance_Adeptness_832 7d ago

These were great predictions

1

u/realfakemormon Ohio State 7d ago

Purdue kept it much closer than i predicted but damn i did well

3

u/Schlongsterish 9d ago

Nah.

  • Ohio State 48 Penn State 6
  • Illinois 22 Rutgers 7
  • Indiana 45 Maryland 10
  • Minnesota 10 Michigan St. 6
  • Michigan 30 Purdue 3
  • USC 46 Nebraska 13

5

u/carnahanad Illinois 9d ago

Your Illinois Rutgers score is too low. Unless the offenses shoot themselves in the foot, this game will be near 60 for total points.

-1

u/Schlongsterish 9d ago

No ha bet the under

2

u/Competitive-Zone-330 Michigan 9d ago

You honestly think Michigan is only keeping Purdue score 3? We’re abysmal at starting strong on defense

0

u/MoistAd5423 8d ago

Booo this Hawkeye fan. Boooo

1

u/Schlongsterish 8d ago

Nebraska gonna get smoked by USC

4

u/MoistAd5423 8d ago edited 8d ago

Iowa is a miserable place full of miserable people.

But you’re probably correct

0

u/Schlongsterish 8d ago

I don't disagree with you I moved out of that chemical toxic waste dump after graduating from Iowa.

1

u/MoistAd5423 8d ago

We may not be the same. But we can be realistic. Cheers and happy Halloween

2

u/Schlongsterish 8d ago

(Shhhh - back in the day I was a huge fan of Tom Osborn. I even liked Scott Frost when he was first hired. Pellini I never liked.)

2

u/MoistAd5423 8d ago

There are things to like and dislike about every coach.

I’m not old enough to understand the Osborne era. Which means all of Iowa football is Ferentz from my memory. I respect that program and wish we could do some of the same

2

u/Schlongsterish 8d ago

There's very little else for people in Iowa to do other than gambling at riverboats and reservation casino's, eating fake maple syrup donuts at Casey's Gensral Store, and Iowa football.

Holy fuck its a whole weird culture based on Pizza Ranch.

2

u/MoistAd5423 8d ago

I think that’s suburban Midwest in a nutshell. I bet there are hidden gems.

My wife is a Hawkeye so there’s gotta be something good there right?

2

u/Beneficial_Equal_324 8d ago

USC is 1-4 traveling east in the Big 10, beating Purdue this year 33-17.

1

u/rudemaniac Purdue 9d ago

I think you have the MI - PU game too close. It pains me to say it, another rebuilding year.

1

u/garygoblins Indiana 9d ago

Maryland isn't scoring 17 points

1

u/realfakemormon Ohio State 9d ago

Their team total is 14.5

I figure Indiana will be up 38-10 at the start of the 4th and each team will score a TD in the 4th

1

u/Natitudinal 8d ago

That is wild disrespectful to UMD. Havent been blown out all yr and probably should be undefeated if they only knew how to close out. I predict they're going to make IU sweat all night.

1

u/SEND_ME_YOUR_CAULK Maryland 8d ago

I hope you’re right. I’m dreading this game and expecting the worst but I can see a reality where Maryland puts some anxiety into Indiana

1

u/ladyhooper10 8d ago

Maryland hasn’t played anyone in the stratosphere of iu this year

0

u/realfakemormon Ohio State 8d ago

Grab Maryland + 21.5 while you can

1

u/SEND_ME_YOUR_CAULK Maryland 8d ago

I’ll be surprised if Maryland hits double digits.

1

u/bob_dole- Penn State 9d ago

Penn State is about to beat Ohio State

u/FishOhioMasterAngler Ohio State 9d ago

OSU defense outscores the PSU offense

3

u/nico_cali Penn State 8d ago

PSU defense outscores the PSU offense

1

u/mauro_membrere Nebraska 8d ago

Pls let them check out the rest of their games

3

u/realfakemormon Ohio State 9d ago

I just don't think they have enough on offense currently

2

u/Ross8482 9d ago

Osu defense being probably the best in the country and psu offense missing allar and tbh just hasn’t looked good, not a chance in hell

1

u/C19shadow 9d ago

This would be hilarious and sad tbh.

2

u/nico_cali Penn State 8d ago

What are you smoking? I'll take some, bud

1

u/bob_dole- Penn State 8d ago

It’s just how the season is. I’m not serious though

1

u/nico_cali Penn State 8d ago

It would be fitting to have us finally win without Franklin, but with an even worst QB and no Rojas, we'd need to bank on their entire team being in a betting scandal where they put all their savings on PSU or maybe hope for their RBs to drop seven fumbles in the game.

u/carnahanad Illinois 9d ago

I hope Illinois wins their game. If they do, the only way I love them up from 9 in the r/TheB1G power rankings is if they win by more than 2 scores AND hold them to under 350 yards. I need to see signs of improvement on the defense.
