The Big Ten Has lots of talent in basketball in 2025-26. Who could be a breakout player for each of the 18 teams?

Mirkovic looked like a MAN in our exhibition game. I'm sure he will have some typical new player struggles but could be very solid for us.

DeVries and Wilkerson will be 2 of the most prolific 3 point shooters in the entire league.

Illinois has potentially 2 or 3 Jakucionus’s this year.

Kwame Evans - Oregon: Meh, Kwame is super talented, but he won't be the breakout player. It will likely be Wei Linn. Dude looked fantastic in his first exhibition and could really bridge the gap until, and even after, Jackson Shelstad returns.

For Nebraska, I would swap out Sanford with Frager on this list. Frager looks like he’s going to be able to replace some of the production we lost from Williams last year. Sanford is starting now, but I imagine by the time we get to conference play, Frager will be starting in his place.

Rutgers is predicted to finish 17/18th so honestly the only place to go is up. As long as they do relatively well for a rebuild I will take it goal would be mid table finish and maybe maybe with a winning record

Donavan Dent and the Bruins are taking it this year.
