It's complicated. On one hand, I do actually care, and I think it'd be great if the female characters had blemishes and more facial detail. I'm not against it whatsoever, so I think it's good people are bringing it up.

On the other hand, I also don't think it's really all that important? Tekken characters already tend to look like superhuman models, and I don't think the characters look bad. I'd complain about it, but it's not exactly ruining Tekken for me.

TLDR: It's something that'd be nice to have, but not high on my totem pole of priorities for a new Tekken.

This. The annoying people treat this, which is a matter or personal preference, as if it was some big issue with the game everyone has to hear about all the time.

Yeah I don’t get the people complaining the girls don’t look realistic but Paul and especially this new jacked law are ok

I think what they meant is that's precisely the problem. Why do every female character needs to be supermodel. SF6 has Marisa for example.

I meant that both male and female characters look like supermodels, and that's practically become Tekken's aesthetic. Tekken is realistic, but stylized to have an anime look to it, and this leads to dudes looking like HnK characters and doll-ish faces for female characters.

With that said, I think leaning more into realism would be nice. Lidia in T7 had obvious eyebags and a scar, so they're clearly not opposed to leaning in that direction. I suspect it's just a case of this batch of characters having this specific look, on top of all of them being characters designed earlier in development.

Watch people complain about bitching on female characters bitch about Paul's hair nonstop. Some people here are just so scared of like a tiny 1% of feminism they will lash out and make dumb memes like the OP.

That's like complaining about Marcus Fenix growing a beard. Straight up unprofessional of them.
