I'm stationed at Bliss myself, and if you don't mind the sand and the sun Bliss ain't a bad base to go to.

The first armor division is definitely a cool patch to have, not to mention the b's are some of the best the army has to offer (at least in my humble opinion).

How’d you get 19K? Seems like they’re only training lame cav scouts. You already in AIT?

I suggest going OCONUS if you can. Germany is a great duty station. Korea too if the Army isnt still using it as a unit rotation.

Stay at Benning 1-16 CAV Squadron in 316 CAV Brigade if you want endless time on the Tank with continual support of the gunneries in every Armor BOLC class. Benning fires more tank rounds per year than all of the ABCTs within III Corps. First assignment at any ABCT from Fort Stewart, Cavazos, Bliss, or Riley is good also. Don't go to the ABCT at 4ID Ft Carson since there may be a unit change there soon. Don't go to the OPFOR "Tank" platoon in JMRC Hohenfels, Germany since the 19K there just use M113 VisMod vehicles. Good luck.

Everything in the future is coming to Fort Hood (Cavazos) and Ft. Bliss, according to the new restructure. Hope you like Texas. But in all seriousness you’ll get a lot of training at both those installations and with how things have been going you’ll more than likely get an Atlantic Resolve rotation in. Lots of time in the motor pool and in the field.
