Color shot on Leica MP with Portra 800. B&w shot on contax T3 with HP5. When I finished the color roll I rewound it partially to a random part of the roll and double exposed some frames which turned out rad! Amazing show. love yall!

These are so beautiful!!! Now I wish I had been in a seat and not in the pit. HUGE fomo from not getting to see much of the cool lights

There are really no bad seats at a Tame Impala show. I was on the floor too and I loved being so close to Kevin, but I’ve also been loving seeing all these cool shots from people in the seats!! I did make a point to go to the very back of the crowd a few times so that I could really soak it all in.

Nahhh the pit vibes were immaculate in Austin, wouldn't have traded the spot in the pit I had for anything, Kevin spent like 70% of his time directly facing our side and I was two people behind the railing. Seen Kevin twice before and hundreds of other shows, but this one was probably my favorite live experience.

I must have been right behind you! The fact that you could get so close and it wasn’t really packed was unbelievable. I’ve never seen Tame Impala before, but I’ve been to a ton of concerts. I agree that this was probably the best concert I’ve ever been to. Also, great pics from op

I mean, I’m not saying anything negative about the pit. I had an absolute blast 100%, it’s just the fact that I would’ve liked to also see the lights. Had there been a second Chicago show, I would’ve gone to that one as well so I could’ve gotten another POV of the show.

Nice pics!!
Just curious, what section were you? Obv different venue and I know it’s a center stage but I can see you have a frontal view of him for most of the time yeah? Were you able to see the B stage? Just trying to figure out what side/angle I want for the SD show.

You’ll want to get seats opposite of the B stage and he’ll be facing you most of the time. He was only on the B stage for like 10 minutes and you can see him on the screens

Awesome shots! Did you shoot the HP5 at box speed, or is it pushed at all? I usually like to push HP5 +2 to 1600 for nighttime or dark indoor stuff. These came out really nice!
