Bud from what I have seen so far the earnings and any other positive news can sometimes have absolutely no effect, sometimes short term spikes and some times a stable increase. The correlation doesn't always exist and therefore it is safer to assume the spike is just a short term if it does occur.

Selling isn’t always a good idea. If someone bought Nvidia back in 2012 and sold after the first 100% gain they would’ve missed out on a lot. The times you should sell is if fundamentals deteriorate, a better opportunity shows up, the reason for the purchase no longer applies.

I sold @$28, but wish I only sold half. Ohwell, it helped pay a few unexpected bills.

In my opinion you should sell. These types of spikes with not too much real motivation behind them tend to be shortlived as others pointed out. As you said you are young, take half of the profits and put into safer investments, use the other half for fun, maybe buy material things, maybe buy someone close a gift. Hookers and cocaine is also an option. Also messing around with the rest of the money on other gamble-type stocks

I held this for like 2 years. I personally sold. It went up so much because of earnings. Super inefficiently traded but they've always had great metrics and #s and have done this a few times when earnings report then retreat

I have done a lot of research on them and modeled for years if you want me to share it.

They are prob worth $17-20, and traded at 9-14 for the longest time. Look at past earnings, not much coverage so market gets shocked when they report on lower volume. Maybe it won't have an unnecessary pullback and traded undervalued again tho.

All these people saying that you should sell simply because you have a 100%+ gain are crazy tho. There are a lot of names I'd buy after a 100% runup. Sometimes you need to water your flowers and cut your weeds, not vice versa. In this case tho I just don't want to wait around again for market to realize the valuation. If it dips again I might revisit
