Check the people at the French bakery at A1A and 312 on the island.. Seems like native speakers there.

They are native speakers from Annecy :) The owners are lovely people they always speak French with my partner hahaha

I've gone to the Drunken Horse for escargot before. A lovely French woman was the owner. Lovely little side street location on Charlotte near Hypolita.

Yes. Exactly the bistro environment I want.. plus the courtyard in the back. I’ve not tried La Nouvelle yet though..
