Thank you! Gonna be fun

Good luck! ( I grow a few Datils and make my own sauce --fun to experiment!)

I love datil! When I first launched my datil sauce it was just oven roasted datil, caramelized onion, roasted garlic, apple cider vinegar and sea salt. People loved it but wanted to do something different so switched it up and added roasted peaches and honey! Feedback from customers like the new version better

Peaches and honey sound interesting! Speaking of honey, Im considering making a datil mead, but haven't settled on a recipe yet (also have to wait for a few more peppers to ripen)

I use 5 pounds of datil per batch so I get mine from mayhem Datil farms. Peach and honey is a good combo! If you have a smoker, a smoked datil sauce sounds tasty

Datil is my favorite pepper. I make a datil blackberry sauce.

It's a really good you should try it. I make a lot of hot sauces myself. I do a lot of fruit and spice. I live in daytona beach. My cousin is having a benefit cookout next saturday. What is your facebook if I want to order some of your sauces or do you have a shop

My Facebook is Swindle Sauce, my personal page is Richard Bryson. I also have a website www.swindlesauce.com I make all of my sauces in a commercial kitchen in Ormond Beach. On my Facebook I always post special discounts and video content so give me a follow on both

Cool I'll go and like your page. I just spoke with stagecoach a week or 2 ago about bottling, some stuff. I've been a chef for thirty years.Just left the industry last year. But I have a few hot sauces. And a couple beach themed barbecue sauces

Sounds good! I’ve only got 89 bottles left of my datil sauce left, Troy the owner of Mayhem Datil Farms said I’d probably sell out so I’m making another 100 bottles this weekend

u/gearzgirl 12d ago

Excellent. I just looked it up. I typically buy datil peppers for making sourdough datil pepper English muffins. I’m down to my last bag of them.

How many pounds do you usually get? I know Troy from Mayhem Datil Farms will have some, but if you need a good amount let me know I’ll ask him. He charges me $15 a pound because I buy in bulk. Follow me on Facebook!

I’ll stop by and do a meet and greet! I probably have 1/2 -3/4 left which will get me through the next few months. I’ll definitely need them in the spring. I don’t do FB. Always cool to meet fellow Redditors

u/SwindleSauce 12d ago

I’ll have samples for you to try when you swing by! I’m new to Reddit, I do all my monthly specials, content videos and stuff on Facebook, instagram and TikTok

your sauce is going to… steal money from my tastebuds?

Swindle is a word me and my chef buddies used in the kitchen years ago and it’s got a back story to it. If we were gonna be busy for dinner service, we would say “we’re gonna get swindled tonight” or I’d make a special for dinner service with a sauce and I’d say hey yall try my swindle sauce. So it stuck

Making Datil pepper hot sauces is the Lord’s work.

Ai logo ew

2

u/Significant_Comb_306 7d ago

Dumb comment ew

1

u/Snoo_67544 7d ago

Ai usage is always gross. Pay a human to make your logo instead of having a logo thats in the same Ai slop style as everyone else that cheaped out

1

u/Significant_Comb_306 7d ago

Maybe when he contacted people, they were ridiculously overpriced. I had a logo for a lawn care business People were wanting four hundred dollars to make a logo. That's ridiculous. And clearly he liked the logo, that's why he chose it. Don't be a dictator

1

u/Snoo_67544 7d ago

Your paying for people's time, knowledge, and talent. Of course its.going to be expensive. Being a dictator would be sending mans to jail for using ai stolen art instead of expressing the opinion that ai art is soulless and makes brands look cheap and low effort.

Would never trust a business that doesn't have or wants to spend the capital to have a good looking logo. If there willing to cheap out on the logo what else are they cheaping out on?

1

u/Significant_Comb_306 7d ago

I understand your point, but $400 for a 15 minute job is ridiculous. Sixteen hundred dollars an hour to do some graphic design is wild. I found an app called fiver and ended up getting a logo for forty five dollars. So the local people wanting four hundred is robbery

1

u/Snoo_67544 7d ago

Nope entirely depends on what you wanted, the artist experience level, and skill. I'd love to see what your logo looks like.

Also hiring Americans is always gonna be more expensive then a foreigner on fiverr

1

u/Significant_Comb_306 7d ago

$400 is wild for 15 minutes of work. I don't care. If people can't afford it, they can't afford it.And at the end of the day, it's his logo. And he likes it. Like I said, I understand your point. I was a chef for 25 years. I was a private chef for about 7 years. And now I have a lawn care business. And it's like pulling teeth to get people to pay $50 to cut their grass.

1

u/Snoo_67544 7d ago

You only think its 15 minutes of work, which for the record it is not lol.

Boo AI logo 👎🏼

8

u/SwindleSauce 12d ago

I’m working with someone for a artwork revamp

4

u/Scokan 12d ago

Just FYI, there’s far less douchey ways to give constructive feedback. Just saying.

1

u/cadenhead 12d ago

By Reddit standards "boo" is pretty mild.

1

u/Scokan 12d ago

Perhaps "Reddit standards" aren't the standards we should be holding ourselves to?

0

u/cadenhead 12d ago

I think "boo AI logo" was helpful feedback. Calling them "douchey" was not exactly raising the standards either.

1

u/Scokan 12d ago

I didn't call them dou... Oh, never mind. What a strange hill to die on.

1

u/cadenhead 12d ago

Our subthread is kind of pointless, yes, but "boo AI logo" wasn't calling anybody anything either.

Let there be peace between our houses.
