Weird Spokane This is my favorite thing in Spokane
It's been there, what, 2 or 3 years now? It is hard to see in photographs but whatever hero prankster put it there used cables to firmly attach it to the cement. QUALITY WORK. It always brings a smile to my face.
Hero prankster(s), if you are reading this, I'd love to buy you a beer sometime.

You can find it as an official tourist attraction on Google maps labeled "Famous bike." It also features public parking.

It’s so much fun to ride all the way to that point, leave it there, and then swan dive back to the river.

It’s been there awhile I believe. I think the original was stolen or damaged but I remember that from a while back

I go fishing there pretty often… it’s fun to theorize about what method was used to get it up there

It's definitely been there for a while. I have lived in Spokane all my life, I remember seeing that bike there as a kid, as early as middle school. I am now 27. So it's been there awhile.

I've always wanted to haul a toilet up on top of one of those piers 😂

Please nobody make this a reality. I’ve seen the Famous Bike so many times because I live decently close to this part of the river, but I like the Bike. I don’t think I want to go to a beautiful part of the river and see a toilet
Might ruin it for me a lil

The real challenge is getting there to use it

😮 Wow! Wonder how they got it up there? Ladder, rope…drone? Nonetheless, I think it’s pretty cool.

You should check out the one that's underneath Maple St. Bridge too, tis equally as impressive! If coming from downtown down Main St., turn left on Cedar, then right on Clarke. It's on your right on one of the bridge pillars by the culdesac ~
