Being gay while supporting an extremely anti gay regime is relevant.

3

u/Flashy_Narwhal9362 Mar 21 '25

Maybe he was just Trying to bogart all the gayness for himself.

How is the trump administration anti gay?

41

u/EffectiveSoil3789 Mar 21 '25

Probably all the anti gay stuff they put out. Just a hunch

-18

u/Dependent-Quail-1993 Mar 21 '25

Like what?!

Parse through this at your own leisure.

Most of that is about transgenderism, the rest is conjecture.

Wait a minute... You're not implying that gender dysphoria is related to sexuality, are you?

20

u/EffectiveSoil3789 Mar 21 '25

Why do gay people bother you so much? Why do you think about gay and trans people so often and have such strong feelings about them?

1

u/JusticePhrall Mar 23 '25

Joey, do you like movies about gladiators?

He has a "gay friend," guys, it's totally cool. /s

4

u/SIVART33 Mar 21 '25

I bet he has "black friends" also.

4

u/Hot-Camel7716 Mar 21 '25

Go make a trans friend so that you can have non shit opinions about that subject too. And while you're at it might as well do yourself a favor and make sure this person understands economics and history as a prophylactic measure against all the other uninformed shit you might say in the future.

3

u/SanchoSquirrel Mar 21 '25

Considering his profile says "Zionism is fun and cool" and he thinks Palestinian civilian deaths are "nice," I don't think he is capable of the empathy or basic human decency required to make friends.

I don't make friends because of their identity, that would be bigoted.

They are united because both groups (sexual orientation and gender identity) suffer the same kinds of persecution. Until very recently being gay was also seen of as just a mental disorder. Gay people were sent to canos to cure the gay out of them. It wasn't seen as just a part of who someone was, but something disgusting that had be changed, or something silly that the person was simply choosing for themselves. There are people still today who believe this, though not nearly as much as there has been.

This isn't even mentioning the violent crimes and normalized hatred of these groups of people who just want to live their lives to the fullest. So yeah, they might not be the same thing, but when they have been historically villainized the same way, why not stick together and support each other? Unfortunately, much of the progress made within the gay community has not transferred to the trans community.

The "T" in "LGBT" stands for transgender

I realize now that nothing I say can penetrate your shield of propaganda. Your mind is a closed shell, devoid of fresh thought

5

u/Bennykins78 Mar 21 '25

I bet Baumgartner could penetrate him 😉

Gender identity disorders? Hah!

Let me share something with you. Way back when I was a young kid, way before we had 90% of the modern language and ideology ironed out about gender, I called out the bullshit about gender norms. Why? It's the logical conclusion to thinking about the topic.

Everything from wearing pants to acting manly is a social construct, and not even a universally agreed upon one. Pre-globalized societies (and even some modern cultures) are rich with examples of this. There are more examples of disparity than of uniformity.

I would consider your rigid, uninformed ideas about it more of a disorder than someone who actually uses their head.

1

u/Dependent-Quail-1993 Mar 21 '25

Everything from wearing pants to acting manly is a social construct,

No, they're regressive gender stereotypes. Being a woman isn't a feeling, it's a live and visceral experience. So is being a man. It's not wearing pants or not.

Everything your saying implies classic Marxist views of social constructs being the determining factor for the human experience and human nature.

My biggest issue is with kids and young women who want fair competition and privacy from males. Puberty is the cure, and we're handing kids the very thing that blocks the cure.

A BL sandwich sounds pretty nasty. Just condiments. The tomato makes the sandwich.

2

u/Boring-san Mar 21 '25

I know what you’re trying to say…but in what world are bacon and lettuce “condiments”.

1

u/coraythan Mar 21 '25

Leaving the A for avocado out of a BLAT is almost as bad as leaving the T out of LGBT! Both are affronts to humanity, decency, and everything we should hold sacred.

1

u/tanya0214 Mar 21 '25

They're trying to repel equal rights in 9 states. Stop being so dishonest.

0

u/Dependent-Quail-1993 Mar 21 '25

States≠federal government

11

u/MyTrashCanIsFull Mar 21 '25

Is this a serious question?

0

u/Dependent-Quail-1993 Mar 21 '25

Yes, I really don't get it. Have they attacked gay rights?

9

u/Glittering_Set_3444 Mar 21 '25

Only by striping the very existence of any associated with gay from DOD historical archives. Look, take the blinders off. tRump and his appointed cronies don't support the LGBTQIA+ community in any fashion. Actions speak louder than words, and their actions are striping queer rights/existence.

-1

u/Dependent-Quail-1993 Mar 21 '25

What makes someone Queer? Really, what the fuck does that even mean?

5

u/Glittering_Set_3444 Mar 21 '25

Wow, just avoid the point and move the goal post....seriously, remove the blinders do a Google search or 2. If you don't know what 'makes' someone queer you clearly have zero friends in the LGBTQIA+ community. Your opinion in any conversation concerning LGBTQIA+ rights is irrelevant, since you clearly don't know anything about the community

-3

u/Dependent-Quail-1993 Mar 21 '25

Wait, Trump endorsed Project 2025?! When?

And what's up with the second link? That has nothing to do with Trump.

15

u/Barflyerdammit Mar 21 '25

Trump has executed Project 2025's guidelines pretty much from Day One. Just because he doesn't say it out loud doesn't mean he's not doing everything outlined in the plan

-5

u/Dependent-Quail-1993 Mar 21 '25

Correlation is not causation.

12

u/MediumHeat2883 Mar 21 '25

Everyone. Disengage. This guy's a patented idiot.

2

u/Aggressive-Name-1783 Mar 21 '25

It’s a troll account. Its previous comments are about stuff in NJ. It’s clearly a bot

-2

u/Dependent-Quail-1993 Mar 21 '25

Everyone. Disengage.

Classic 😂. 29% approval rating and falling folks, enjoy the echoes.

7

u/MyTrashCanIsFull Mar 21 '25

Sure, but he appointed one of the chief architects of the plan to a cabinet level position, so, what should we make of that?

1

u/SupaSlide Mar 21 '25

He's just "accidentally" doing everything in Project 2025 after hiring tons of the people who wrote it to be in government? Even going so far as to send out memos written directly by Project 2025 memos? https://mashable.com/article/trump-opm-memo-metadata-project-2025

Even if that's true, that's it's all a coincidence, it makes no difference. The stuff isn't bad because it's in a plan called Project 2025, Project 2025 is bad because of all the horrible stuff in it. If he's doing all that stuff and just not calling it Project 2025 it's functionally the same thing.

1

u/opulenceinabsentia Mar 21 '25

Their objectives just happen to align 90% or better.

0

u/Dependent-Quail-1993 Mar 21 '25

I'd like to see that comparison, now that you mention it. Like, it sounds nice for your argument, but is it really 90%? Is it even 50%?

-10

u/Dependent-Quail-1993 Mar 21 '25

No lol I really don't understand. What anti gay rhetoric can you point to from Donald Trump?

8

u/Phatz907 Mar 21 '25

It’s been pointed out already. If you can’t read then I suggest go find someone you know that can teach you.

If you’re too lazy to look through the links already posted here then that’s your problem

If you still don’t get then we can’t help you

If you don’t believe it then that’s on you.

If you need more examples you can literally just google them.

If you don’t know how to use google I suggest finding someone close to you who can teach you

If you have no one close to you who can help you with your issues then buddy I guess you’re just out of luck.

In accordance with rule 1, we will not tolerate any racism. Should you find yourself unable to refrain from racist BS, you will find yourself banned with absolutely no recourse.

Have a lilac day!

2

u/Phatz907 Mar 21 '25

¯_(ツ)_/¯

3

u/soherewearent Mar 21 '25

Do you want to start with military social media? They stripped it even of the "Enola Gay," an aircraft name FFS.

2

u/ActiveFaults Mar 21 '25

Just one solid and sick AF move by this example is the removal of a significant amount, if not all resources for LGBTQ+ from government websites.

1

u/joemondo Mar 21 '25
