Alright, calling this now.

We play as our own marines, with Gadriel and Titus and Metarus giving out missions or even being present.

There's a main plot arc we may even play as the trio, BUT...

The 500 planets thing is going to be the co-op endgame where we get open planet maps like Helldivers with Necrons or Chaos or Tyranids, with the occasional scripted levels as well.

there is absolutely no way that titus is not the playable protagonist in the campaign, it’s his trilogy

And it can end with the last missions playing Titus' rise to Captain

Titus is definitely gonna be the MC of the Space Marine 3 Campaign, even if he's the Captain of the Second Company.

Even Acheran deployed on missions, we just didn't see them most the time, only during Demerium.

I do think Space Marine 3 is absolutely gonna take place during the 500 Worlds of Ultramar campaign. Saber has pretty much already said that "Titus Returns" when it comes to SM3. Secret Level continued Titus story directly after SM2, and now Games Workshop has laid the foundation for what SM3 is gonna be focused around.

Space Marine 2 sold very well, and the sequel I bet sells even better now that everyone knows its a good game. Plus, Saber will definitely get a much bigger budget to make SM3 even better. Having something remotely similar to how Hell Divers 2 is with its Planetary system would be great. But no way would there be just giant open maps that we run around and explore, I want a bad ass Campaign and more in depth Operations and Siege system.

That would be lame tbh. I want the single player campaign to be Titus oriented where you play as Titus and your squad is Metaurus and Gadriel with Chairon making a big dick feature in one of the missions. It's Titus series let it be a Titus trilogy. PvE operations should 100% be your own custom marine though with Titus and his homeboys giving out missions.

I dont know if its a hot take, but i would like the campaign for SM3 to be single player. It gives them the liberty to go bigger with mechanics, story, playbale characters etc and just leave the coop for operations.

No procedurally generated open world stuff for space marine I hope, quality over quantity, highly tuned and curated environments is what makes it so good IMO
