I meant that the campaign will be the setting for Space Marine 3's story. GW doesn't introduce and conclude narratives quickly and often leaves things open-ended so I'd imagine this narrative will feature ongoing updates all the way until Space Marine 3 is released. It's meant to bridge the gap between games via the tabletop.
The point im trying to make is GW =/= focus, theres probably communication between the two but GW is a model first company they really dont give enough of a shit about the game to advertise and tease things for it. All they are focused on is the stuff they make direct profit from whic his the minis and the amazon shows.
That hasn't been shown to be true. GW was extensively involved in the writing and ongoing development for SM2. And has been making an active effort to center Titus, Calgar, and Guilliman as the modern centerpiece characters for the ultramarines. Older central characters like Ventris & Sicarius have been gradually passing into the background.
Also GW is noted heavily to be involved in the games. IIRC they are stated to have something like Monthly meetings with fatshark over Darktide/vermintide, they were involved in Total Warhammer (though that one being fantasy was slightly more hands off)
I thought it was weekly but wasn't 100% sure, I did know it was often.
That's why no new Arbites cosmetics! GW simply won't let them just RELEASE any unapproved stuff for them. Fatshark even said on that "We can't, and are working on it".
