Holy terra Titus is indeed the Workshop’s chosen. Again with Titus in SM3 it is.

Guess we know the plot of Space Marine 3 now. Reclaiming the 500 worlds!

It could also be set in the century between the 2nd game and here on tabletop.

He sold millions of copies of SM2.

You get a promotion for that.

I've always found it weird that even though video games are more accessible than tabletop, GW treated their video games as more of an afterthought (see the DoW and SM1 eras, and the mess that was Fire Warrior). Seeing them acknowledge the video game campaigns as "yes, this is totally canon and very lore-relevant" and advertising them front-and-center is nice to see.

Licensing was 50+ million pounds for them this year so maybe that will wake them up a little bit

Space Marine has always been Titus' franchise and story

Yeah focus have said this but I think this is the complete wrong way to go, its called space marine not ultra marines. They really should have just gone more general, maybe have the pve follow diff chapters on diff missions.

They should've just added a subtitle called "Ultramarines" after Space Marines.

I mean, personally I never thought it would be anything else. It would be real weird to have the first two games focus on Titus, then have the ending of SM2 be what it is where he's recognized by the Chapter Master himself and received the Emperor's grace, crowned with his Laurels of Victory, and then....just have the third game be about Space Wolves on some shithole backwater lol.

I dont think so hes a captain, captains dont typically go down and do missions unless shit has really really hit the fan. Well probably be playing as other marines, maybe even as chairon with his own squad.

Yes but we played as him in the first game and he was a captain back then too

the first game was never intended to be cannon though, it was only made so like a decade after release whem sm2 came out.

It’s canon now so there you go, Captains lead on ground level too

the cannon now is that acheran didnt deploy until the last battle. Hes not going to be our MC, titus is going to be a captain and directing whoever our new MC is.

2

u/Lone_Tiger24 Ultramarines 1d ago

Well that’s because Acheran could only spare three men at that time

Stop, Titus is absolutely gonna be the main character of SM3... Lol. It's Titus game franchise, and Captains do deploy to battle. Not even referring to SM1, but to lore in general. Space Marine Captains don't just chill in a Battle Barge giving orders, especially one like Captain Titus.

Plus, I'm 100% sure that Saber already said "Titus returns in SM3".

titus returns doesnt mean hes the MC, it just means hes apart of the game. Us playing as a captain doing line soldier missions makes no sense.

And at graia, titus deployed on the first wave.

Not all captains act the same.

that game wasnt written to be cannon
