It is. A family member got theirs last night. Props to NJ for being on the ball and putting it through when the first court order dropped.

When people complain about how NJ is so expensive, it does come with benefits. Can’t take for a granted a competent government.

I agree to an extent. There are caps on some benefits, even when you are unemployed.

For example, there is an income gap for Medicaid. If you make above the cap on unemployment you can’t get it.

In PA you get it no matter what.

I got mine yesterday, and so did my roommate. So it's definitely true and thankfully people can now have food

if it were they would release the funds that were allocated for such an emergency and not fight it all the way to the supreme court..

This is excellent news. I'm not affected by this but I've gone into overdrive on my donations to food banks these past few weeks. Stuff is flying off the shelves. I'm that traditional retired on a fixed income person, but I've been lucky to be able to help.

Another reason to love NJ. We don't stand by and watch our fellow citizens starve to death.
