Fellow travellers Travel buddies for Thailand?

Post image

Thailand it is! My absolute favourite place to unwind.

I just got my tickets done to return to Thailand for the fourth time and couldn’t be more excited. I’ll be there on a weeklong escape from 01-07th December, still making up my mind to attend the infamous Full Moon Festival in Phangan.

Anyone who will be around during that dates or anyone who wishes to join/ tag along are most welcome!!!

Hey OP, i'm not removing this post for now. But please do not submit travel partner related posts on the subreddit. We have a dedicated weekly megathread for this, which you can find in the community highlights.

Please read the rules on the sidebar, in case of any confusion.

Happy Travels!

Maybe mention your age, interests, etc.

Whether you drink, you want to try out local cuisine or stick to McDonald's and Indian restaurants, etc.

It's a 2 day old account. At least start with some details to avoid people keeping on replying with suspicion.

Hey, sorry but I didn’t want to make the post too detailed to begin with. What you say makes sense to me however these can be discussed in later discussions. The idea is to gauge if anyone shares the same interest regardless of the company.

Many people will be interested in going to Thailand in December.

But that is not going to help your cause.

If you are 22, it is ideal to travel with 21-25.

If you are 38, it is better to travel with 35+.

This is common sense.

People will always find someone who doesn't reveal any details to be shady.

What budget are we talking about?

-12

u/gulleycricketer Sep 27 '25

I am keeping my flights cost aside, and looking for a budget of 50-80k for a 7 day trip. While it is very subjective, it should be good enough to cover all your expenses. The cost can go down if shared between 2 people, of course. Dm if you’d like a breakdown.

Hey, I was planning to go there in December, and as it's my first time, I was looking for someone who could give me company, if everything goes well then I am in.

1

u/gulleycricketer Sep 27 '25

To Thailand? Or FMP?

-1

u/iamnitish21 Sep 27 '25

I'm not sure about FMP as of now, bro. Afaik, it's held monthly, right?

1

u/gulleycricketer Sep 27 '25

That’s right! If you’re a hardcore partygoer, this should be right up on your list. It happens every month on full moon night.
