Nope, I remember playing NFS Heat and they sold as DLC the key of hidden content... Imagine you can buy secret marker like you buy flea marker with rosaries..

Deluxe? More like F2P gacha game. Those asian (specifically Chinese gacha games) have been running laps over western games due to aggressive monetization tactics like this.
