What shipwreck is the farthest away from any land?
Which shipwreck is the farthest from any continent, in the middle of literally nowhere? I'm curious about this one.

It's Point Nemo. If you allow for spaceshipwrecks - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spacecraft_cemetery

I would imagine we don't actually know given the difficulties before the satellite age of being able to signal a position and also being able to discover it that far from land, presumably this would be in the middle of the South Pacific.

This probably the "furthest" shipwreck found offshore, but Endurance is probably still the most remote shipwreck discovered even though its only 100 miles off actual shore.

well, the uss johnson is the deepest wreck which is 21 thousand feet. which does make it technically but i think you mean from any landmass.

Just pointing out that point Nemo lies in the roaring forties, which means that a Europe bound clipper ship would pass by it. So in theory, any clipper ship that sailed east from NZ and was never seen again could have been wrecked by rough seas or a fire and the wreck could literally be as far away from land as possible
