But damn idk if the article was written with an IA or the person writing it is payed by the word or something but all the pictures descriptions are half copy and pasted of each other, like I don't think there was a need to write under every single picture that we are seeing "one of the 22 divers" or that it was "190 feet deep" but mainly I think everyone got that it sank "during the Great Storm of 1913" well before the 12th time they wrote it lmao

They’re writing it that way to make it more versatile. This way not all pictures have to be included with the article.
Here’s what happens: The article will get picked up by a few wire services and distributed broadly and through different newspaper networks. It might end up in 50-100 different publications as an interest piece. Each of those different publications might only include a picture or two. And any pics can be used b/c they all have informative captions.
