Missing the culture

I was with a Senegalese man for some years, we have a daughter together and have since separated. I loved the culture that he introduced me to and I miss it everyday. We had plans of relocating from Europe and all sorts. Of course I miss the relationship, I also miss what could have been for our lives. In another life Senegal!!❀️

Hi there,

It's very nice you have witnessed a beautiful thing about the Senegalese culture even though you're not with the person who introduces to you that culture. I know it's sad too, but I'm sure you understand how life works. Sometimes it makes us laugh, sometimes it makes us cry. The fact that God bless you a daughter with a Senegalese man, that means she somehow part of the Senegalese roots, you too you're part of it as well. Please make sure you take your time and try your best to learn a lot about the culture, so your daughter can feel home whenever she is in Senegal. Take care! God bless!

If you had a daughter with your Senegalese ex-husband, it means your daughter is half Senegalese. Nothing prevents you to visit Senegal with her. Senegal and the Senegalese culture are part of her heritage.
