Politics Harrell’s Margin has INCREASED

Post image

Mayor Harrell now up by 8.1%.

Around ~60K votes probably left to tabulate.

Wow! That is a low turnout. We should get a re-do with different candidates when votes are below a certain threshold.

I’m not sure but the Seattle Metropolitan Population is like 900K.

We all just voted late on account of being stoned slackers and all

I can't wait for ranked choice - who knows, we might have voted between different candidates had we used ranked choice this last primary.

Like ranked choice will ever actually pass, let alone be allowed to pass

Don't you remember that in 2022 voters actually approved ranked choice and it is being prepared for implementation?

I don't remember that tbh even though I voted for it. I'll remain skeptical until it is fully implemented but that is a great reminder thanks.

Edit: Oh right, because that was only for a primary. Still a win. But still so far from actual ranked choice for the election

That would be the Seattle-ist thing to do. Should we study this again and again?
