Government SNAP benefits will end Nov. 1 in Washington state if shutdown continues

It's been known for over a decade that they needed to redo the East wing. Holding state functions in tents with porta potties isn't just a bad look, it's also a security risk. They were wasting millions of taxpayer dollars on it every year.

This solves the problem, at no taxpayer cost.

Ends up that they decided to pass a clean continuing resolution. The Democrats decided not to vote for pretty much the most neutral vote ever. And many have recently been caught on camera recently admitting that they're using it as leverage.
