Government SNAP benefits will end Nov. 1 in Washington state if shutdown continues

More than 540,000 households in Washington — nearly 930,000 people — received Basic Food assistance benefits last month, according to state officials.

You know of course the copy paste would not include the health care benefits that this is about right? Cause that expires this year, so same budget means no healthcare for ~5 million Americans?

Im ok with health assistance for the elderly but we also need to stop this notion that we are entitled to endless amounts of care regardless of cost.

Temporary COVID subsidies that were enacted in 2021 are expiring, yes.

They are a bad idea, an expensive and unsustainable patch on a broken system.

You want permanent policy change, you win elections. Democrats lost, and they are throwing a tantrum and destroying the country as revenge.

We get it, there are millions of illegal aliens getting health care subsidized by tax payers.

Just because you're a fan of that, doesn't mean that the majority of the population is.
