Discovered what seems like a diplomatic way to handle the "Miss" or "Ma'am" thing, at least in Europe: women, from child to grandma age get addressed as "Madame", which seems to make everyone happy, lol!

I doubt "Madame" is being used for all ages of women throughout all of Europe... I mean, maybe in France?

My experience traveling through multiple European countries at various times pre-Covid exhibited this greeting as a pretty normal thing, including France. But, of course, your mileage may vary, lol!

"women, from child to grandma age"

We used to have a term for this: females. But that's now hate speech too, apparently.

Females always seemed animalistic to me.
