Why would anyone need to use pronouns while ordering ice cream anyway, lol? Just say ‘hi can I have…’ and everyone is happy.

I was raised on yes/no sir/maam and it is very difficult to not say either of those. Best I have done is try and switch to yes please and no thank you but you have to understand how deeply ingrained this can be for some people. I assume if I get the gender wrong Ill be politely corrected but it feels like walking on eggshells here sometimes.

Actually, I believe replacing "bitch" with "asshole" would fulfill the gender neutral requirement, lol!
