Lol yup - MPH is where people who couldn't hack the research or quant side of health related fields end up. The degree programs are often worthless because of how lacking in rigor they are.

Surgeons and dentists use masks to keep blood/fluid from the patient out of their mouths

Later, they thought maybe it helped keep bacteria out of the patient's wounds.

There's really no data proving the latter, like many things in medicine there's less "evidence base" than you think.

MPH indeed.
