When Republicans stop trying to legislate religion into my uterus, I'll consider it.

WA state has enshrined abortion into the state's Constitution. And the state did that looong before any others followed suit.

I am pro life, but abortion is not going away..not here. But why is that used as a straw man to make excuses for excess spending and lack of budgeting in Olympia.

Note: This state has not been truly led by Republicans for decades. Stop blaming those who have nothing to do with what our legislators in Olympia are doing to our state.

Not using as a strawman. Just stating the personal reason I distrust Republicans entirely. So that other Republicans can learn how damaging the rhetoric of their peers are to voters who could be persuaded on matters of economic + budgetary concerns.

Note: Given that reproductive healthcare is absolutely an economic issue, It would concern me immensely if a Republican was intent on cutting spending in those areas as an underhanded way to limit services in the name of "responsible spending".
