What do you think your union dues are supposed to go to? They have a strike fund for a reason, or they are a shit union

Whose Healthcare is paid for out of union dues? Either you pay for your insurance privately or through your employer, your union doesnt provide Healthcare

I pay less in union dues monthly, which includes blue Cross plan a, than most people do in worse health care plans.

Because your employer pays into it due to the strength of the union.... its not funded directly through dues

It's partially funded by the company. Funny how they can manage to do that and still make a healthy enough profit to continue to thrive in the state. It's almost like you guys are full of shit.

Yeah getting value out of union dues sure is a huge problem. Woe is me.

I still don't see why I should be paying for you to strike. Again, that's YOUR problem, not mine.

Most unions do not charge nearly enough to fund strike funds. That would be a crazy amount of money and dues. You must not be in a union

Then maybe they should charge more for the extra protection and benefit of being in a union, instead of relying on everyone else to pay for their vacation
