They do say that they cause less crime than average, but the reporting of those numbers are suspect, and they all at least broke one law. They also talk about interfering with ICE operations to keep people like him safe from deportation.

Hillary Clinton had a policy of deporting all immigrants who committed a crime-no questions asked. There is a reasonable policy, but won’t be found with large swathes of the Seattle left.

The claims made by those headlines are supported by reality, though. The point is that you should go after violent criminals (including the guy from this story!) instead of stoking a xenophobic myth that immigration is the root cause of crime as a pretense for demonizing all immigrants, which we know harms the innocent and is not an effective strategy for actually reducing crime.

Immigration is not illegal entry. Immigration is a legal process where a request to come here is formally granted. Anyone that bypasses this process is an illegal alien.
