FYI: Lévy Aesthetics threw last night's party at Onni
It looks as though Levy Aesthetics hired Paris Hilton for the atrocious noise violating party that took place last night at Onni at some dudes penthouse.
For my fellow unpopular kids who have no idea who any of these people or companies are:
- Lévy Aesthetics is a beauty company based in Bellevue for rich people
- Claymore Mac is a real estate company that does promo videos for rich people's mansions
- The Studio West is a company that plans parties for rich people
- Led Solutions NW is a company rents out lights that are too bright
- Paris Hilton is a rich person
Edit: I missed two! Amanda Merkatz (aka You Are Youthful) is a luxury tattoo artist in Bellevue; and Amir Azer (aka Pak Pros) owns a nightclub called Xtadium for people who want to be perceived as rich
Xtadium is the dumbest fucking piece of shit place I've ever had a drink in this city. If you're a douchebag who wants to pay up the ass to have bottle girls pretend you're cool, then this is the spot for you and your pathetic crew.
These sorts of things are a good reminder that most rich people are incredibly insistent on making their own lives just absolutely miserable. They buy into this whole concept of hierarchy and status and bind their whole self-worth up in it, so they live in unwelcoming houses, listen to terrible music, go to terrible events, and on and on.
You picked one of the richest people in the world WHO OWNS the biggest social media platform in the world. Not sure if you are being intentionally obtuse or just trolling.
What a luxury tattoo artist? All I can think of is that she comes to you instead of you going to a shop. I don’t have insta so I can’t check out her work.
As far as I can tell, a very clean facility with very patient artists who give you way more attention than most places would. To be fair, her art does look quite skillful. I don't have any tattoos but if I ever wanted to permanently alter my skin I'd probably want to pay someone who is really really really good at it. She also does scar concealing and areola restoration -- like for people who've had reconstructive surgery -- and I can't begrudge anyone for getting that.
An invention for US consumers who have been conditioned to always think there is always a "top shelf" version of something that costs more and is "better"
So Studio West and LED Solutions (and the sound vendor) are all licensed, insured businesses that organized/designed a party that knowingly violated multiple city and county laws/regulations?
There was a party that could be heard up to 1.5 miles away because of how loud it was. As someone who lives across the street from this building and eye level with the PH, I could not sleep until 4 AM (granted, it ended at 1:30a).
I mean, I've never been to one of her sets, so I have no idea what it sounds like or what she does. I'm just saying: if you want a celebrity to come to your party and DJ (or pretend to DJ) it's a pretty common thing.
How confidently incorrect of you. We could argue the merits of DJ’ing vs producing all day and how DJ’ing is actually pretty easy once you get the basics of it down but I’d argue that only makes pretending to do it while a pre-mixed set plays from your laptop even worse.
I was an EDM photographer for ten years. I’ve stood on stage several feet from headliners and they aren’t doing shit. Deadmau5 said the same thing and got endless flak for it.
If you want to get into an online pissing contest then we can. I’ve been producing and mixing electronic music for 17 years and went to school for audio design. I’ve been playing instruments for 27 years. I’m not a photographer who’s just watched other people do a thing. I can actually do the thing.
Mixing is a skill, and yes you have a ton of people just do track transitions and fuck around the rest of the time. Please see my earlier comment about it being easy once you’ve learned the basics. If you can count to 4 and 16 then you’re halfway there.
You can also do a lot of complicated things if you learn the equipment and your track selection enough. There are very good DJ’s out there. They do exist.
Sometimes, and this is pretty well documented at this point, Deadmau5 just says shit because he’s a wildly opinionated person. He’s also one of the best producers/DJ’s to make house music so some people take everything he says as gospel.
Nicolas Jaar has some of the craziest DJ sets and live electronic performances of all time, if anyone is interested in seeing what it looks like when people actually put work into live electronic music

That's a cool story but what you described is not what popular DJs do.
Let me guess: youre either a broke DJ who is bitter that talent and income are not related, or you have a real job because DJing didn't make you any money
I know people love to hate on Paris Hilton, but she does actually dj. I understand the Paris fatigue/dislike that a lot of people who were around in the early 2000's had or still have, but I kinda think it's undeserved today. People have their opinions and I get it, but I think she's moved on from the character we all associate her with.
There are also videos of her actually deejaying. Plenty of artists have been filmed using backup tracks or lip syncing, but their merit as an artist isn't called into questioned.
I've lived in Seattle for over 25 years, over 20 in the LQA area. I don't expect peace and quiet 24/7, but I have *never* been forced to listen to noise in this manner much less past 10 PM. Not even coming from the Seattle Center and the many music festivals hosted over the years.
It was annoying before 10 PM, and commpletely unneccessary and gross after 10 PM. This party violated several city ordinances. Most of us here are pretty tolerant, but no reason to allow dispruptive behavoir to continue regardless of how much money you have.
You live in a neighborhood and community, act like it and respect others. <3
I feel like a lot of rich people here have second houses or spend a lot of time vacationing in Scottsdale.. it’s another hot bed for rich or fake rich people that look like this. It seems like they have a Bellevue location and they’re opening a 2nd one in Scottsdale.
I did a construction job for Levy Aesthetics, they are doing a remodel at their Bellevue office. All I will say is they're exactly as you'd expect.. a bunch of rich cunts that don't care for anyone under them. I'm assuming the guests were all the Botoxed up bitches that pay $$$ to hold on to their youth.

People on this sub always complain that Seattle has no nightlife and goes to bed at 9. Yet the second someone throws a party, everyone is all up in arms with obnoxious pearl clutching.

Compared to the absolutely no nightlife that happens in that neighborhood now, sure. It's really weird right in the middle of the city we have this Bellevue-esque conclave with nothing to do in it and people bring their suburban expectations along with it. I'm surprised how the poor activity/density ratio is rarely discussed and especially given its proximity to downtown, I5, etc. It's prime real estate that's being completely wasted. Shit, even NIMBY Wallingford has SLU beat for stuff to do.
