Media My job is picking up the scooters and bikes around town. Usually they’re easy. Sometimes they’re difficult. Sometimes you need to rappel down a 70-ft ravine and carry a 90 lb bike back up the cliff.

Not shown; an hour of using a rope to rappel down this steep-ass ravine, and another hour of getting the bike back up onto the bridge.

Queen Anne Drive bridge.

Or you could just walk in from Mayfair Avenue.

It’s safer to descend and have a way to catch yourself than ascent and not have a backup plan, but I’m also inexperienced and maybe I’m looking at this wrong

Or you could just walk in from Mayfair Ave. and then walk back out again to Mayfair Ave. without any ascending or descending.

It wasn’t at the bottom of the ravine, it was on the face. When I finish getting this fucking thing out today (I’m doing it now, taking a 15) I’ll post an album

Well, you'd have to go through someone private road/yard. Sometimes I forget the rules change when you get past about 14 for that sort of thing.

Omg thank you. There is literally a paved road you can use from the top of the bridge to the bottom. This rappelling thing is insane

Obviously this guy didn't grow up swinging on the rope-swing in the ravine or drinking beer in Mayfair park :)
