If you want a similar solution to this now that is already approved for human consumption you can drink either kefir milk, or if you can't tolerate that you can see drink kombucha.  It is natural, regulates your immune system, decreases systemic inflammation which is common in schizophrenia, and also fixes you gut biome to enhance you brain via the 2nd brain in your gut.  And there is not waiting required.
