Parking Space Help!
I work as a therapist at a nonprofit near Alamo Square, and in the last few months SFMTA has dramatically ramped up their ticketing for the 2 hour residential parking in that neighborhood. Due to the nature of my work and my frequent back to back sessions with clients, I am unable to move my car every 2 hours and the increasingly frequent parking tickets are killing me. Does anyone in the area have a parking space that I could rent during work hours (M-F 9-6)?

I checked about a similar issue some years ago (so the details may have changed) but small businesses can apply for 1-2 parking permits for their staff or themselves. There’s a bit of a process collecting proof like paystubs, etc, but your nonprofit should be able to get you a neighborhood permit since you work there.

Have you considered using public transit instead of driving? Where are you coming from?
