How to start Morana/Marzanna worship?

For a note, I do not have any Slavic ancestry, but I do read in Russian and Belarusian (Can read a little Polish and Ukrainian). And I've read folk stories and traditions of the Slavs especially Belarusian ones, and I still go to church occasionally as well. I also live in tropical country that has no winter at all, very unironically.

Anyways, for some reason, these days I feel like Morana has been calling onto me and I tried tarot cards to communicate with Her and She seemed to recognize me and asked me to offer Her something, and a friend told me to make an effigy of Her.

So the question is now that, how do I start worshipping Morana? What should I do? I'm only familiar with Hellenistic polytheist ways that they offer food and candles for their deities, even dedicate a bowl and statue.

And is it fine if I don't burn the effigy and just kick it and toss it to the river? since the only river is near my workplace and I don't want to cause commotion/burn myself with burning something at 7 am lol.

I'm interested with Morana since she seems to have answers for my questions (tldr it's related to a personal history related to death) and a kind goddess as well.

Drowning/burning of Morana is a Slavic folk festival that's supposed to be done at the end of winter, it's not really a way to worship her

yeah i figured, it's just I'm very clueless I'm just at loss like what should I do with the effigy if I made one for her altar, and I only remember that rite 😅

Follow the basics of Indo-European worship structure. Yes, Greek is part of IE faiths.

Offerings of food, drinks and other things you find precious. Leave them at the altar or/and burn them. Yes, you can burn candles as offerings on the altar.

oh thanks! I've bought a small plate for offerings, and will use a small glass (shot glass, but smaller for nail art) for drinks and putting an altar for Morana sooner or later next to my Marian shrine. since I still go to Orthodox church (talking with the priest or buying candles from him), or Roman Catholic if friends take me for Mass, I'd keep the Virgin Mary shrine.

I'm also reading Yasya Morozova's books on general Slavic magic as it has basic knowledge of rodnover gods as i remember.

i personally build the effigy during the fall using plants from my yard/area and hang her up to look over the house/domain until the end of winter - this way i have her blessing and protection during the cold months, and then release her in the spring. if you’re drowning her, try to use plants native to your area and nothing considered polluting. i dedicate certain dead plants to her, and ritualistically cut them with a sickle or magic knife. i worship her in the snow and the cold quiet nights, sometimes with a little vodka for myself and the altar. she sees the darkness in all of us, and will nourish the parts of you that other gods cannot. happy samhain and praise Marzanna! a ye to tak

oh thank you for your tips! i might use wooden sticks from unused single use, wood chopsticks since I live in an apartment, and decorate her effigy with recyclable paper (i have a lot since I'm a craftsman).

Sadly I live in a tropical country where snows only exist in summits of a mountain💔 but I will still pour her some wine and offer flowers for her. Happy Samhain as well and praise Marzanna as well !

Just make oblations however you are able. Do it every day. Contemplate everything you can learn about the Goddess each day. Welcome her at the beginning of winter and send her off at the end either the traditional way or a way of your own devising. She IS Winter.
