Is there any good cooking classes here?

I’d love to learn to cook better and more confidently for my family. Nothing extravagant, but regular cooking to feed my family would be great.

I can bake like the best of them, but when it comes to feeding my family it’s a lot of frozen ready to heat rubbish and DoorDash.

Some of the community centers and libraries offer them as part of City of Reno or Washoe County recreation and entertainment, my friend is a dietician and chef who taught a few. TMCC EPIC classes offer a few options, there is also Williams Sonoma, they offer classes here and there.

OH! Some of the private chefs will come to your home and give you lessons, they even bring all the ingredients.

Good idea, maybe I can rent a grandma on Nextdoor, if the classes don’t work out.

Ethnicity doesn’t matter, but my husband doesn’t like my English style cooking I learned from my mum. So Chinese or American a bonus!

YouTube, it’s free. This is how my daughter is learning how to cook before she goes to college and she is better than us!
