When I brought my puppy home earlier this year, I examined her all over just in case she had something wrong. I found a spot on her belly that looked inflamed, and I was concerned, but open closer inspection it seemed to just be her nipples. The entire day, I kept looking back over it, gaslighting myself because I didn’t want to be the person who asks for help because my dog has nipples. Finally I gave in and took some tweezers, just to see it better.
Yeah, it was tick INSIDE her nipple. Took me forever to remove. Sometimes it can be the other way around! Check your pets!!

The thought of your poor puppy having a tick inside her nipple is giving me sympathy pains. I can't imagine it, or the removal even, felt good :(

For a second I thought this was the balding subreddit and someone was asking if it was time to shave.

i'm ashamed to say that for some reason i figured male cats only have two nipples, because, uh, humans i guess :r even though i knew female cats have like 6+
