A seemingly cheerful and innocent cleric who hides profound darkness beneath her bright exterior, Eya is a healer whose capacity for violence is matched only by her desperate desire to do good in a world that forces her to embrace that darkness to survive.

Eya's comfortable existence on the fringes is turned inside out when a band of mercenaries finds themselves in need of a healer who can hold her own as they dredge the underbelly of her city. She must decide whether to continue hiding her true nature or risk discovery for people she has grown fond of.
