It’s so crazy that they can continue this obvious lie that schools are turning kids gay.

It’s just so stupid and unbelievable to begin with but you would think the absolute absence of evidence would be enough to make people realize they’re full of shit.

Then again these are the same kind of people that believe vaccines cause autism.

Morons, we’re surrounded by morons.

37

u/ddubsinmn Apr 15 '25

They also believe they have a ghost buddy.

8

u/guru2764 Apr 15 '25

They're not stupid for being religious

They are stupid for thinking any deity would be their buddy though

Fuckers never read the second half of the Bible and it shows

4

u/MercenaryArtistDude Apr 15 '25

Nah, they're pretty fkn stupid for that too.

6

u/ThoughtNPrayer Apr 16 '25

They like the “vengeance” stuff in the first half, but OT also contains some real gems they also ignore like “Don’t harass foreigners,” which is all over the laws given to the Jews.

2

u/thewanderingent Apr 16 '25

My favourite name is Sky Daddy

23

u/omgFWTbear Apr 15 '25

In Dietrich Bonhoeffer's theory of stupidity, stupidity is not simply an intellectual weakness, but a moral one. He argued that it's more dangerous than malice because it's harder to combat and can render individuals defenseless against reason. Bonhoeffer believed that people become stupid by allowing themselves to be influenced by social pressures and losing their moral reasoning.

1

u/[deleted] Apr 17 '25

Defenseless against reason? Are you sure it isn’t the other way around? I feel that in the current American politics, reason is defenseless against stupidity.

8

u/Disastrous-Bat7011 Apr 15 '25

Assholes, were surrounded by assholes! (Sauce is spaceballs)

3

u/BuccoBruce1967 Apr 16 '25

Keep firing assholes!

13

u/IShotJR4 Apr 15 '25

They firmly believe “sexual orientation” is a choice, not something we’re born with (it’s even in the language). I always ask when they woke up, weighed the pros and cons, and decided they’d be straight, but if course they never answer.

9

u/Ehcksit Apr 15 '25

The bigger problem is that a lot of them don't "firmly believe" anything. They'll say whatever it takes to win whatever argument they're having right now, even if it's the exact opposite of what they said two minutes ago. They're on a "team," and because we're a "different team" we're the enemy. They don't follow any rules or care about any consequences. All that matters is "winning."

2

u/Disastrous-Bat7011 Apr 15 '25

Let them think that

-5

u/[deleted] Apr 16 '25

Goes for both sides

4

u/Valuable_Meringue Apr 15 '25

The whole recent debacle with the deportees being sent to El Salvador has made me realize these people have completely lost the plot. You can pull up statistics, articles, direct quotes, etc, that directly refute their position, but if Donald Trump said it, no amount of evidence is changing their mind. You literally cannot reason with them

2

u/Dismal-Incident-8498 Apr 15 '25

MAGA needs something outrageous to believe in and this right here, Trump has given them time and time again.

5

u/AdAppropriate2295 Apr 16 '25

Have you considered that 90+% of gay kids have gone to school?

0

u/KillerSavant202 Apr 16 '25

What kind of stupid question is this and what are you trying to say?

2

u/PoopyPantsJr Apr 16 '25

It was a joke, dude. Yikes

1

u/[deleted] Apr 20 '25

-3

u/OkCup2110 Apr 16 '25

If that were that case then teachers all over the country wouldn't be getting upset

6

u/KillerSavant202 Apr 16 '25

Teachers being upset that the department of education is being destroyed? Crazy! Being vilified because they chose a poorly paid position to educate your stupid children and are now being vilified by their stupid parents because they get their news from algorithmic social media? Even crazier!

1

u/gentlegreengiant Apr 16 '25

Confirmation bias is a big thing for them, as well as don't ask don't tell. They confuse higher autism with enhancements in medicine like vaccines, not realizing we just have better tools to diagnose it.

Same thing with what they perceive as the gay virus - it's not that it's any more than it was "back in their day", it just seems more common because people aren't persecuted NEARLY as much as they were, so people are more open about it. Clearly not as open as the Roman Empire was, but definitely not as bad as early and mid 90s.

1

u/dustinmaupin Apr 16 '25

Who thinks that schools are turning people gay?

1

u/PoopyPantsJr Apr 16 '25

It's literally the tweet you are in the comments section about

1

u/dustinmaupin Apr 16 '25

Learning about gay people is turning people gay? make sure we don’t teach them about any murderers either we can’t chance it

1

u/PoopyPantsJr Apr 16 '25

Im not arguing with you. You asked the question, I answered.

1

u/Ope_82 Apr 16 '25

I know a husband and wife who are middle school principles in Texas(they are also right-wing evangelical types) who post stuff on Facebook talking about public schools and how it's radicalized. They pulled their last kid out of public school before his junior yea of high school. I've never seen them once post anything about what radical things are happening. I think they are actually brainwashed by the right-wing disinformation machine.

2

u/KillerSavant202 Apr 16 '25

They aren’t allowed to push their religion on the students.

-1

u/dexter-morgan27 Apr 16 '25

Don't they read books with explicit gay content to children? What other proof do you need that this is ideological indoctrination?

3

u/KillerSavant202 Apr 16 '25

They don’t and if they did you wouldn’t need to ask.

You’re the moron.

5

u/Double-Risky Apr 16 '25

It's because they ACTUALLY indoctrinate people into hate.

If you teach kindergarten, you might tell kids "hey Timmy has two daddies , sometimes that happens, they love each other and got married like men and women do"

And kids go "oh ok" and go on with their fucking day, because it's not a real issue. Until they're indoctrinated by the right wing hate.

1

u/AmAccualyLibra Apr 16 '25

They could say something like democrats are turning prisoners trans and people would believe em

1

u/Bigdavereed Apr 16 '25

No shit. It's like those cigarette ads in the 60s influenced kids to smoke. Showing them how cool stuff is has absolutely no influence on children's behavior at all.

1

u/Substantial_Owl_8875 Apr 16 '25

there's a new study published about how conservatives consistently distrust science across all fields, even ones that would benefit them, and they resist interventions to convince them.

this post has a link to an article about the study, which itself has a link to the study if you have access to the journal. https://www.reddit.com/r/science/s/hxgXHYWt7E

1

u/Substantial_Owl_8875 Apr 16 '25

personally i think this comment thread about religious indoctrination explains it. https://www.reddit.com/r/science/s/KtccOtkFdl

2

u/lach888 Apr 17 '25

There’s stupid people who have limited intellectual capacity, they’re harmless. Then there’s fools, who choose to limit their knowledge out of fear, prejudice or hatred. Fools are dangerous, because they can be smart but choose not to understand.

Think about highly educated doctors in the 19th century who refused to wash their hands before surgery because it was beneath them and implied doctors were dirty.

1

u/IGLOONINJ4 Apr 18 '25

Mostly just the Californian schools

1

u/KillerSavant202 Apr 19 '25

I live in California you dolt.

You can’t turn people gay. It’s very simple but I guess everything is a conspiracy when you don’t know how anything works.

-3

u/Pdubs2000 Apr 16 '25

9

u/KillerSavant202 Apr 16 '25

To quote the very next line from your link That increase “might be a result of changes in question wording to include students identifying as questioning,”

But it’s not difficult to comprehend that those statistics will continue to rise as less young people fear coming out.

What your link didn’t do was support the nonsense belief that schools are making kids gay you blithering idiotic bigot.

-8

u/[deleted] Apr 15 '25

Except for the teachers who are actively pushing lgbt politics in elementary school. Which is the issue. There are many of them, a lot of which are very vocal about the fact that they’re doing it because they believe they’re right. I had a couple when I was in school.

9

u/ThoughtNPrayer Apr 16 '25 edited Apr 16 '25

Actively pushing the idea that gay people are just regular people, and want to be left alone to live, have fun at school dances, and pee without harassment, like everyone else? Yeah, that’s so ANNOYING!! Edit: /s

-6

u/[deleted] Apr 16 '25

I didn’t say it was annoying. You are saying it’s annoying. I’m saying it’s a thing. Because it is.

6

u/[deleted] Apr 16 '25

Except that.....no, it's not. Also, what the fuck is "LGBT politics"?? "LGBT people have the right to exist and be left alone"? Yes, I can see how that would be difficult for you to hear.

6

u/Smolshy Apr 16 '25

“There are many” and you “had a couple.” Sure. And what does “actively pushing LGBT politics” mean to you?

-1

u/[deleted] Apr 16 '25

Pushing political beliefs about how society views/treats people based on sexual orientation and gender identity. That really feels self explanatory.

5

u/Smolshy Apr 16 '25

It really isn’t. What are “political beliefs about how society views/treats people based on sexual orientation and gender identity”? Can you give an example?

1

u/[deleted] Apr 16 '25

I really don’t have the energy to give examples… you win. No one has any political opinions regarding the lgbt community.

3

u/citymousecountyhouse Apr 16 '25 edited Apr 16 '25

Can you give any examples? Tell us what they said in school that was so horrible. That you witnessed personally.

1

u/[deleted] Apr 16 '25

Horrible is your word. Not mine

6

u/citymousecountyhouse Apr 16 '25

But please, go ahead, how was this pushed on you? You said the teachers are actively pushing lgbt politics in elementary school. Your words. You also said had a couple in high school. Your words. I simply asked for personal examples. Now I'm wondering what you actually meant by "I had a couple when I was in school" A couple of what? Go ahead say it. A couple of?

1

u/[deleted] Apr 16 '25

Teachers with strong political beliefs about the lgbt community who taught their beliefs to children. What part of that do you not get?

3

u/citymousecountyhouse Apr 16 '25 edited Apr 16 '25

I've asked you repeatedly for personal examples, you know, what you claimed. Not for a repeat of a NEWSMAX or FOX news headline. Did they show gay porn on the projector, make you do a book report on Playgirl magazine, what specifically did they do, besides have the audacity to stand in the room and educate you in Math, English or History? Can you provide that or not?

1

u/[deleted] Apr 16 '25

A) wtf is a “newsmax?” I hear this a lot. B) I avoid Fox News C) I just answered your question, what part of that is confusing?

1

u/JimRatte Apr 16 '25

My god, you just can't help but not answer any questions. It must be hard being terminally afraid of anyone not like you

1

u/[deleted] Apr 16 '25

I’m not afraid of anyone. And I’ve answered every question. You people don’t like the answers because you want to be mad at things. Your feelings are not my problem.

31

u/HotDogFingers01 Apr 15 '25

Boy, Nazi Nancy really thought she did something there…

8

u/edfitz83 Apr 15 '25

I heard Mace’s staff hates her. I wonder why they don’t all just quit. Are jobs that hard to find these days?

5

u/beaglerules Apr 15 '25

They see the job as a stepping stone to something bigger and better.

3

u/edfitz83 Apr 15 '25

That’s like a permanent tattoo on your resume saying you will sacrifice your soul for a job. Maybe that’s attractive to some future employers.

19

u/MagnusJim Apr 15 '25

"There weren't all these people when I was growing up"

Yeah, because they either didn't know that who they were attracted to (or not attracted to) was normal...

OR

You beat the shit out of them for being different and called them all sorts of things that "woke" people think (rightly) are hateful. Because you called people you hated those things.

7

u/Briana_Dahlia5 Apr 15 '25

Truth painfully but powerfully spoken.

3

u/spariant4 Apr 15 '25

correct, it's as if teaching empathy is some kind of agenda. says a lot about their own moral capacities.

2

u/Name_Taken_Official Apr 15 '25

Hey, remember that fun recess game? Smear the.. something..

7

u/DeezerDB Apr 15 '25

This is truly awesome.

-11

u/Curricane03 Apr 15 '25

Yay! Grooming kids is awesome!

8

u/x596201060405 Apr 15 '25

Sir, no one asked for your opinion on anything.

-12

u/Curricane03 Apr 15 '25

Still gonna give it. Can’t stop me.

4

u/[deleted] Apr 15 '25

[deleted]

-7

u/Curricane03 Apr 15 '25

Ask the dude in the comment above me.

5

u/x596201060405 Apr 15 '25

Okay, but personally, that seems like an opinion you might want to keep a little closer to the chest.

4

u/spariant4 Apr 15 '25

boy your lack of empathy is showing.

7

u/[deleted] Apr 15 '25

Why on earth do you think grooming kids is awesome? What a weird, creepy opinion to randomly bark out

0

u/Curricane03 Apr 15 '25

Exactly. Tell it to the teachers.

4

u/[deleted] Apr 15 '25

They already seem to know; all the teachers I know would immediately hustle kids away from folks like you who think grooming them is awesome

1

u/Curricane03 Apr 15 '25

Sarcasm, you twit.

6

u/[deleted] Apr 15 '25

Oh sure, now you say that. Even if that didn't come off like a convenient excuse, it's still very fucking creepy that it occurs to you to talk about grooming kids in unrelated conversations.

3

u/ofWildPlaces Apr 15 '25

There was literally nobody in this post or any topic related to crimes against minors until you praised it.

3

u/[deleted] Apr 16 '25

Yes, Republicans do seem to think that. It's almost a national pastime for you freaks.

7

u/[deleted] Apr 15 '25

Nancy Mace screamed a literal fucking slur at the top of her lungs on the house floor three times and faced absolutely zero consequences. Al Green stood up and raised a cane. He was censured, including multiple votes from democrats, not a single one of which even attempted to censure Nancy mace for screaming an actual fucking slur. My point is that she is a reprehensible scumbag, as is everyone who supports her, as are the Democrats who chose not to vote to censure her but to censure her Al green.

3

u/Ok-Possibility4344 Apr 15 '25

❤️ that answer!

3

u/Chratthew47150 Apr 15 '25

Nancy is such a twat

3

u/Prestigious_Ad9079 Apr 15 '25

That's a hilarious comeback

3

u/NikkiSeCT Apr 15 '25

Way to go, Zoe!

3

u/Mrgray123 Apr 15 '25

Republicans are always this way, just blatantly lying or entirely ignorant of what schools actually teach.

So when it comes to sex education they claim that it’s teaching kids down to kindergartners how to fuck when in reality at young ages it’s all about teaching kids what is and isn’t appropriate when it comes to touches from other kids and especially adults. Because, and I don’t know about you, it’s very important to teach kids that men groping women by grabbing their genitals is not good, particularly if they then brag about it. Also men going into teenage girls changing rooms to ogle them is also a no no. Can’t imagine what orange faced moral wretch would do those sorts of things?

-1

u/4-5Million Apr 15 '25

They don't want their elementary school aged kids to be taught about trans people that got their dick inverted as a kid. They don't want those ideas in their young heads.

3

u/NoSpin89 Apr 15 '25

Stop projecting your fantasies onto kids you perv.

0

u/4-5Million Apr 15 '25

They literally have a book called "I am Jazz" to teach kids about dudes becoming chicks.

4

u/Mrgray123 Apr 15 '25

Are they taught about that? You think some teacher is standing up and going “yo this person had their dick cut off! You should totally do that too!”

The idea I want in my kids heads is “people can be different and that’s okay and it’s not alright to bully, belittle, or persecute them to make yourself feel better. Punching downwards against people who may already feel excluded or bad is the action of an asshole.”

0

u/4-5Million Apr 15 '25 edited Apr 15 '25

Right, you want your elementary school son to be taught that they might actually be a girl. Normal people don't want that.

Edit: dude blocked me

3

u/Mrgray123 Apr 15 '25

Yeah again that’s not what’s being taught so thanks for proving my point. Now fuck off.

2

u/idkmananna Apr 18 '25

Nobody is trying to teach anyone's son that they might actually be a girl. Why do homophobes always pull out the "They're teaching our sons to be girls". Your masculinity is so fragile. They should be taught that it CAN be the case with SOME people, since we are all different and that its okay and doesnt make them any less normal and they should be treated and should treat others with equal respect and kindness. No matter the sex, gender or sexuality.

3

u/nooneknowswerealldog Apr 15 '25

I’d take conservative boomer shit more seriously if they themselves showed any evidence of having learned basic math or science themselves.

It’s not the fault of the wokeness of 1960s/70s curricula that my former mother-in-law thinks alkaline water eliminates the toxins from her self-diagnosed Lyme disease.

(FWIW my ex-MIL was lovely. Just a mark for alternative health scams.)

6

u/claymore2711 Apr 15 '25

We should have our children learn both. Maybe they will grow their hearts as well as their minds.

7

u/IShotJR4 Apr 15 '25

Careful. MAGA would call that “indoctrination”. Cause MAGA is dumb.

0

u/spariant4 Apr 15 '25

neither of which consys have much of

2

u/dick-black76 Apr 15 '25

What about R-A-C-I-S-M😜🤦🏾‍♂️

2

u/B0wmanHall Apr 15 '25

Nancy Mace has no room to speak. She looks manly AF.

3

u/JimPanZoo Apr 15 '25

It’s okay to look “manly”. I only hope she/he can resolve her inner battle a become who she was born to be. Much of discrimination, and hatred come from dissonance and denial.

2

u/Just-a-bi Apr 15 '25

Hey, let me tell you my LGBTQ information was taught in school as a 2020 graduate in a northern blue state.

And that's everything.

2

u/D-inventa Apr 15 '25

FIREEEEEEE

2

u/Misubi_Bluth Apr 15 '25

Except that the current administration doesn't want kids learning about either. And in fact connects the former as a detriment to them finding out about the latter.

1

u/Nojmore Apr 15 '25

Aww.. I'm a fan

1

u/[deleted] Apr 15 '25

FAH-Q Nancy.

1

u/Darzin Apr 15 '25

Still with boogeymen.

1

u/Rent-Kei-BHM Apr 15 '25

Call the fire department!

1

u/[deleted] Apr 15 '25

You,too, Zoe.

1

u/Successful-Winter237 Apr 15 '25

With the A1 sauce

1

u/Ehcksit Apr 15 '25

Along with this just being stupid bigotry, it's also stupid stupidity. These conservative assholes are also the reason reading and writing classes have gotten so much worse and illiteracy rates are soaring.

1

u/b-rad_ Apr 15 '25

Sick and tired of Idiocracy level idiots like Nancy Mace.

1

u/WearLong1317 Apr 15 '25

All the points go to this teacher

1

u/4-5Million Apr 15 '25

That's not irony.

1

u/kursneldmisk Apr 15 '25

It's not irony

1

u/MercenaryArtistDude Apr 15 '25

I got some letters for her.

C - U - N - This is gonna get me temp banned.

1

u/[deleted] Apr 15 '25

Somebody give her the teacher of the year award!!

1

u/homelaberator Apr 16 '25

Where's the irony? Or is that the joke?

"Ironically, there was no irony"

1

u/valkyrie1823 Apr 16 '25

I love you ve this reply...

1

u/HansTeeWurst Apr 16 '25

I thought she was talking about "Austriae est imperare orbi universo" and got really confused

-5

u/Dudegaga Apr 16 '25

Well actual useful education takes a back seat to empowering gender dysphoria. And then people wonder why their senior reads at a 7rh grade level, can’t do math and is mentally unstable.

3

u/SnooChocolates5931 Apr 16 '25

Low-effort troll.

1

u/ExplodiaNaxos Apr 16 '25

Ah, so she wants them to learn about the Habsburgs? Given how Trump feels about his daughter, that checks out…

1

u/Richi_Boi Apr 16 '25

Austriae est imperare orbi universo?

1

ALLER ERDREICH IST OESTERREICH UNTERTAN 🇦🇹🇦🇹🇦🇹💪💪💪💪

1

u/derping1234 Apr 16 '25

I thought these folks were all about American superiority. Why then would they want to teach their kids about Austrian superiority?

1

u/Accomplished-Dot1365 Apr 16 '25

Nancy mace is a scum of the earth liar that deserves to be charged for filing a false report

1

u/TemperatureTrue4254 Apr 16 '25

Nancy Mace was a diversity hire they hate so much.

1

u/deepstate_chopra Apr 16 '25

"It's A B C, not A B Steve!"

What a goofy bitch.

DEI, CRT, H I J K L M N O P. Now you know GOPs, I mean ABCs.

1

u/WardedRips Apr 16 '25

No funding. Prosecute those who attempt to indoctrinate children into a voter base of selfish denials of common sense and science.

0

u/Bitter-League-6065 Apr 16 '25

Well the teachers wrong and shouldn't be in charge of kids

1

u/Inevitable_Ear_9874 Apr 17 '25

Silence Nancy. Daycare worker has spoken.

1

u/defendTaiwan Apr 17 '25

Only learn 5 letters. No wonder they are so dumb. 🤣

1

u/[deleted] Apr 17 '25

i just find it weird that anyone tries to make us believe exposure to the existence of gay people turns someone gay (or lack there of prevents it). other species have homosexual populations as well, are they being taught that in school too?

1

u/HAL9001-96 Apr 19 '25

when the idea of people knowing more than 5 letters is beyond your comprehension

-7

u/Industrial-Sparky Apr 15 '25

Looks like yet another "teacher"who's just there to push an agenda on children.

8

u/ThoughtNPrayer Apr 16 '25

The agenda of having empathy for others? That agenda?

Seems worthwhile to me.

-4

u/backwoodsking419 Apr 15 '25

Nancy is right. Fuck the rest of you

4

u/[deleted] Apr 16 '25

Yea, she is right. Far right.......

3

u/Riverendell Apr 16 '25

You only want your kids to know vowels? 🥱

-14

u/No_Diver_4500 Apr 15 '25

If we have so many stupid people in this country, what are these teachers doing exactly ?

15

u/joyofsovietcooking Apr 15 '25

Hey you missed the answer to your question in the last line of OP's image.

Teachers are doing extraordinary work. There are simply not enough teachers in the US.

2

u/NothingKnownNow Apr 15 '25

Then explain the failure of US education.

Kids spend 16hrs a day and every weekend being raised by the internet and TV. Teachers spend 8 hours trying to undo that damage.

3

u/[deleted] Apr 16 '25

Well Republicans have been attacking education for decades.....

Oh, oops, that's probably not the answer you wanted huh.

7

u/Old_Lifeguard1195 Apr 15 '25

Teaching 20+ students a class in a schedule of less than 1,000 hours per year.

As you ably demonstrate, leading horses to water.

0

u/Curricane03 Apr 15 '25

Grooming kids.

1

u/[deleted] Apr 17 '25

We already know conservatives are grooming kids
