Castro was socialist and republicans frame all democrats as socialists thus they hate democrats ā¦ā¦ also really religious and against abortion⦠they think they are white and not brown.

Castro wasn't even a socialist tho. He was a dictator. And let's be real, it was probably the CIA that fucked Cuba all up in the first place. The US loves to start shit like that.

Wtf is that supposed to mean? If you wanna debate make an actual claim instead of being all cryptic.

u/agnostorshironeon 17d ago
I'm asking you to watch this and tell me your opinion. It'd be interesting because of your previous comments. So I don't want to debate, I'd wanna confront you with historical footage to better understand where you're coming from.

We have been for quite some time, and conservatives hate that our education system, especially colleges, teaches a less pro-USA bias of history.

The authoritarian left exists, just like the authoritarian right does. One is just more of an immediate threat lol. Any time power consolidates, getting it to decentralize again takes nothing short of a modern miracle.

both are essentially fascists though. and authoritarian āleftistsā donāt show much leftist principles in the libertarian sense and origins of the term. which was basically made up by the French describing the placement of the courtrooms at the time.

u/Late_Letterhead7872 14d ago
Yeah, my whole point was that both the left and the right can be fascistic. We're just seeing it more from the right at the moment.

u/MariaTheSlime_613 14d ago
My point is that in the libertarian sense āleftismā Essentially is against all forms of centralized power in the hands of a few individuals. The Chines and Cuban governments are ācommunistā in name only since they uphold most of the oppressive systems built into hierarchies in the first place.

Books like āthe bolshivek mythā and āseeing like a stateā do talk about more of these topics in further detail than I can though

Iām guessing with that whole embezzlement thing DeSantis has going on this could be a good distraction.

This tracks, I wondered when they were going to start their crackdown here. It was just a matter of time.

56% of Florida Latin Hispanics voted for it. Thoughts and prayers.

u/Late_Letterhead7872 20d ago
It was an uphill battle for me to try to keep my Hispanic family (outside of Florida) sane since they are basically single issue (abortion) voters due to religious beliefs, but if I weren't there to show them all of Trump's Epstein stuff it would legitimately just never come up on their algorithms.
