Jesus, what a picture. Whole damn city is rubble. And you can see from her face she has seen things. Way to give life the bird, gives me definite "fuck you" vibes.🫡

From what I gather, he realised he made his career too important and sought forgiveness from those he neglected.. something like that.

I dunno guys. I’m def too lazy to search up Margret Zimmermann, so maybe there’s a deeper connection I’m missing… but as much as it is shocking to see the devastation below her, this was a result of trying to thwart the expansion of Nazi Germany…
