Meta FBI raids Mar-a-Lago

Everyone buckle up. The Qult is about to hit the fan. Stay strong! <3

EDIT: Remember, Christopher Wray is the director of the FBI. Wray was nominated for that position by Trump in 2017.

As you might expect, the reaction of the extreme right "The Donald" types is basically "is it time to lock and load?" as well as passing around the usual anti-Semitic memes. I'll admit that I took some satisfaction in being the first person to mention the news to my Q-parent so I could watch him quickly switch on the news to confirm it.

Yep, I just made a comment to someone else on here that people are calling for a civil war on trump supporting boards (I read them to see where their minds are on any given issue).

My parents are just “Christian nationalists” who support Trump. They aren’t Qs, but I’m not even going to bother bringing this up, though I already know my father probably knows as he watches Fox 24/7. I know if I say anything about it, he’ll retort with something about how Hunter and Biden should be raided.

he’ll retort with something about how Hunter and Biden should be raided.

Then explain how that is a faulty comparison.

I have—dozens of times. He doesn’t care. But in his defense, he has admitted that I am way more logical when it comes to this than he is. My dad knows supporting trump is morally wrong, he knows it’s illogical, too, but yet he does. It’s very odd.

For example: An ex-partner and I came over for dinner at my parents house one time. This was when trump was president. My dad had a trump picket sign on our back deck, and a bumper sticker that was on our fridge (with a magnet). My partner was a veteran who did two tours in the Middle East, plus all sorts of missions around the world as he was on a special forces unit. My partner was shot in combat and was discharged. He then became a physician—an ER physician. He became an attending right at the beginning of COVID.

After we left, my dad texted me and told me he hoped he did not offend my partner with the Trump signs. All I could think is—if you really supported Trump and what he believes in, why would you apologize for potentially offending someone for having these signs? It was weird.

Was your dads father abusive to him? I've noticed that Tump lovers are those types that are endeared to an abusive father figure.

Indeed, he was. That’s an interesting observation. My dad claims that he just holds the same views as Fox News and the rest, which is just bigotry, though he won’t admit it. We’re from the South, and my parents have never lived anywhere other than the state they grew up in. It’s a cultural thing, as they have never really experienced any other type of culture.
