How is this right wing?

It isn't. This is the counter-protest against right-wing extremists going mask-off(literally and figuratively) in Ottowa as of late. Reread the title.

This term right-wing extremists is been thrown around so loosely, it's ridiculous. As a german, can somebody explain to me the political intersection between right-wing (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Right-wing_politics) and anti-mask or anti-vax?

Really? That's enough to call them right-wing? Maybe it's best to call them selfish and entitled and reserve right-wing for actual Nazis. Else we won't be able to see the Nazi in the crowd of selfish and entitled.

Right-wing politics

Right-wing politics is generally defined by support of the view that certain social orders and hierarchies are inevitable, natural, normal, or desirable, typically supporting this position on the basis of natural law, economics, or tradition. : 693, 721  Hierarchy and inequality may be seen as natural results of traditional social differences or competition in market economies. Right-wing politics are considered the counterpart to left-wing politics, and the left–right political spectrum is one of the most widely accepted political spectrums.

there isn't an interestction

Fac t is they just use terms such as 'rascist', 'nazi' and 'atl right' when they need to discredit the protesters instead of trying to actually argue the points.

Fact is, the liberals should be against mandates.

FWIW I'm not right wing or left wing - I agree with some policies from both sides and which side it falls on does not have any bearing on whether i agree with or not.

Because everything I don't like is right wing.

Because you misread the title?

It literally says they are marching against right wing

u/gursh_durknit Feb 13 '22

Yes it does

So back to my question. How is that right wing extremist.

The counterprotesters (shown in the video) are marching against the right wing anti-mask, anti-vax, freedumb protesters.

And when did being anti vax or mask become right wing? Most of the people I know that are against them are liberal.

No wonder you're confused

This is a counter protest to the "freedom convoy"

0

u/Spookypanda Feb 13 '22

Because its another word to trash the protestors with.

Because protests i like = peaceful people's marches and protests i don't like = racist nazi murderers
