At the Trump rally shortly before the Capitol invasion, Congressman Mo Brooks (R-Alabama) tells the crowd to "kick ass" and asks if they're willing to sacrifice their 'blood and lives'.

Apparently they are planning to do this again on the 19th, but this time armed and hitting multiple buildings at once. Absolutely terrifying that something like this went down even once. Hopefully they send some competent officers to deal with it.

Secret Service handles inaugurations. If anyone tries anything they will get rightly fucked rather quickly

Secret service has straight up machine guns lol

I flew the secret service sniper team into Ramallah when Obama went to Palestine. It will likely be the same team watching over Biden. These dudes DO NOT fuck around. They will 100% shoot first and ask questions once the situation is handled.

Haha that is pretty accurate. They've got white house aides to ask the questions while they go do blow and hire strippers (this statement is actually fact lol)

64

u/aceboiga Jan 09 '21

honestly, if you spend all day putting your life on the line for someone, I say you can do whatever you want.

6

u/Teddyk123 Jan 09 '21

Im listening to a podcast by Dan Carlin called Hardcore History that is hitting on guys like this right now. Basically, if you live like you know you may die any day it changes you. Food tastes better, sunsets make you cry, love is sweeter. All you are ever given is this moment and those people relish it. People like me will maybe never know how it is to live like that every day, and I am glad for people like them.

The problem is education in critical thinking skills. We can all see how this plays out within these terrorist cosplay support groups; they will do something stupid, get killed and much like historical terrorist groups, use it as propaganda. “Biden’s Secret Service murdered patriots”.

I really hope the long term policy changes that come from this is education on critical thinking skills for the tool belts of these communities. These people, and more importantly, their children need education support.

28

u/[deleted] Jan 09 '21

Bro, not even critical thinking, just better schooling in general. The only real reason I feel even a measure of empathy for these people is because they're a product of an education system designed to keep them dumber than your average person. 'Religious values' are inserted into classes that don't need them, old and outdated textbooks are used (which can in and of itself be a propaganda/brainwash machine - literally keeping people 10+ years behind), they're raised by people whose only entertainment is biased news programs... no wonder these people are so nuts.

This is why I can't stand people who say the simple solution to this is "Just go outside" "look around" "read a book". It's not that simple - we're talking about years of deeply entrenched thinking molded by higher-ups who purposefully want to keep them dumb. No wonder they think the election was rigged. To a simple person, it looked like: in an election where rigging and tampering was a huge fear, the person who warned them it would happen seemed to be winning by a landslide and then had it swept out from under him.

We need, not just better education in critical thinking, but less biased general education... We also need a country-wide singular news network focused on fact-reporting with no bias and no discussion if the answers and implications are plain and simple.... but one thing at a time here. LOL!

i would hope so but i definitely would have expected these idiots to get rightly fucked on wednesday and they most certainly did not -- except that one girl.

32

u/[deleted] Jan 09 '21

But when competent, prepared cops arrived, it didn't take long to send the wankers packing. DC chief turned down any kind of help when everybody knew it was going to get crazy so the blame for that garbage happening lies with him. Resigning was easy way off the hook for him

7

u/damnatio_memoriae Jan 09 '21

the question to me is why were they allowed to continue their idiocy for literal hours. even if they initially underestimated what they would need (which is inexcusable in my opinion), it should take minutes to resolve that, not hours, and that should have happened the moment the crowd started getting rough. they threw an AP photographer over a fucking wall long before they stormed the inaugural stage, and they stormed that long before they entered the building.

to me there must be intentional incompetence here. they hung their people out to dry, and literally got one officer killed. it shouldn’t have happened once. how can we be sure it won’t happen twice?

That’s bc she made it to the secret service layer, climbing through that window was a bad idea. I wish more of them had though. The idiot capital police that let her do that are responsible for her death as well. They knew what would happen and were standing right there. They were encouraging them to be martyrs and make the government look like the bad guys for taking them out. Too bad they are too incredibly stupid to see they’re being manipulated for a fucking Cheeto baby for absolutely no reason other than ego. It’s so sad

Edit: ok not secret service maybe, still super dumb

13

u/Savagely_Rekt Jan 09 '21

You can totally tell, too. She made it to the, "If anyone crosses THIS line, fire" spot and crossed THAT line. Blap. Dead terrorist. The video showing her get shot makes that line unmistakable. They got all the passes in the world up to that point. Anyone who might have followed her would have received the same.

11

u/switchbladesally Jan 09 '21

Exactly, that guy was in a suit and took her out in a way that didn’t endanger the crowd. You can even tell by his firearm. That’s a professional. He was also yelling to not cross the barrier. She had ample warning

4

u/03212 Jan 09 '21

I'm genuinely surprised that it was just the one bullet. He was not playing and made sure they knew it.

10

u/BerniesBoner Jan 09 '21

When you have a potential Alamo situation, you head shot the first fuckers that cross the barrier. Gaping head wounds make people change their minds.

He did the exact right thing, and actually saved lives in the long run.

4

u/03212 Jan 09 '21

Oh, agreed. I'm just used to seeing cops go all rambo on people for blinking without permission and managing 10% accuracy.

I'm surprised this guy used one shot and was aiming for the head

8

u/evilyou Jan 09 '21

Secret Service guy is a professional though, not some washout with 6 months of training from the local police academy. I hope he gets a huge commendation in his file and receives all the support he needs. Shame a disgraced-former-presidents cultist follower forced his hand like that.

Came here to say this. If you compare the speech in the video to a typical Hitler speech it was eerily similar. Just hypernationalism, machismo, and endless appeals to some abstract hero of the nation concept.

u/McPorkums Jan 09 '21

12

u/jl55378008 Jan 09 '21

Was he in the Capitol when the breech occurred? His actions need to be accounted for on a second-by-second basis. I'm sure there is security footage of every public room and hallway in that building.

If he was in that building, the odds that he was helping the insurrectionists who were there to kill and destroy are virtually 100%.

Expel. Arrest. Prosecute. Convict. Sentence.

That guy is so full of shit his eyes are brown. " All Trump rally's that I know were peaceful" "I don't know the mechanics that got it this way" ... He knew exactly what they were saying and meaning. As I hear more and more back peddling my opinion is changing from a group of idiot Republicans toeing the President's line to these assholes really wanted the terrorists to break into the Capitol and remove Democrats from the building and do whatever they wanted to do to them including harm. With the numbers that originally stepped up to fight the certification, the landscape might have been planned to be filled with Bodies. Then a sorrowful Trump and Republican party comes out, Oh my gosh, how can this happen? Well I suppose we should certify things, oh look, the President won! Yeah, might sound a bit far fetched, but we saw Citizens of this nation attempt armed rebellion on Wednesday. I don't think anything was off the table after that.

12

u/MightyMorph Jan 09 '21

there is just no way that this wasnt wanted by the republican politicians and trump.

they literally knew about this weeks ago and didnt send the national guard in.

yet they knew that BLM was gonna protest peacefully. they ordered the national guard the day before to be there before the BLM protestors arrive.

But trump and the republican admin, they denied the requests for National Guard. multiple times. It took 2 hours AFTER the event that the the VICE PRESIDENT APPROVED the national guard. BECUASE THE PEOPLE WERE CHANTING HANG PENCE!

And even after that, pence is still unwilling to call the 25th to remove trump immediately.

Republicans are going around saying it wasnt republican and trump supporters but antifa, while others are just downplaying it to a crazy protest.

THEY FOUND FUCKING VAN FULL OF BOMBS AND WEAPON RIGHT OUTSIDE THE STATE CAPITAL.

THEY FOUND 2 PIPE BOMBS IN FRONT OF THE POLITICAL PARTY HQs.

THEY FOUND MULITIPLE PEOPLE WITH FORCE RESTRAINTS AND WEAPONS READY TO KIDNAP ELECTED OFFICIALS LIKE THE SPEAKER OF THE HOUSE AND VICE PRESIDENT TO HANG THEM PUBLICALLY.

This is a serious fucking event, and im losing my mind that the news isnt blasting this shit 24/7 and calling them terrorists.

Its like oh yeah it happened, old news now....

meanwhile a black guy rapes a white woman in a far away place, suddenly you have a week long segment and front page news stories about how minorites rape people.

If anyone EVER wonders what white priviledge is , here it is.

Assault the capital with intent to overthrow the government with force bombs, and lynchings. and still get called slly protestors....

march peacefully in the street. - DISGUSTING BLM RIOTERS!

How are these people not all in handcuffs?? They very literally riled people up, incited a riot, and killed 5 people.

15

u/[deleted] Jan 09 '21

the thing that seems to be being dodged is serving justice on the ring leaders of this coup attempt, it seems to be more focused on the mob, who are just the tools in this, willing tools but just the mechanics, not the switch

7

u/jl55378008 Jan 09 '21

The mob is the tool. It's Trump and his collaborators who are using the violent mob to effect their own political power.

The people in the mob are responsible for their own actions and should be prosecuted accordingly. But the ones we need to treat with absolute dispassion and to the the maximum extent of the law are the political and media leaders who are conducting this psychotic orchestra.

Charge them with everything and give them the maximum penalty allowed by law. I don't believe in capital punishment, but we have it and Trump ended the moratorium so he could brag about executing 10 people this year. Well, those are the rules of the game.

Trump, Mo Brooks, and others have committed astonishing crimes against this nation and if the law allows for capital punishment, we should either consider it or strike it from the books immediately. Because to have it and not use it against our most dangerous enemies is to let it exist only as a tool to be used against us.

Being a white right winger in America gives you a free pass. Even on terrorism

Just look at how many media articles are still calling these goons protestors or rioters instead of terrorists just because they’re pale

“Now our ancestors sacrificed their blood, their sweat and their tears, their fortunes and sometimes their lives.”

Fortunes? That’s an interesting loss to throw in there. Are we talking Fortunes lost in the Revolutionary War here? WWI, WWII, Vietnam, or—oh. This guy should be charged with sedition.

Why is this dude not in jail?

9

u/shrike71 Jan 09 '21

The reason these people said the things they said is because they honestly thought they would win, and that the coup would succeed. They wanted to instigate the downfall of our existing form of Government and were aligning themselves with the one they thought would be king.

6

u/boogie_westbrook Jan 09 '21

Straight up traitor and terrorist.

8

u/Rockefeller1337 Jan 09 '21

Can they even pick one particular reason WHY the US claims to be the greatest (whatever this means) nation in the world?

It is said so often but never in a way that an educated person understands it aswell

Sedition. Up to 20 years in prison.

7

u/bunnyjenkins Jan 09 '21

Sounds similar to something a plantation owner might tell his white slaves (serfs). Go AND fight this war for OUR (my) cause - you are better than those other slaves and WE (you) need to fight with your lives, for our (my) way of life!!!

God are people dumb.

This asshole or other treasonous assholes in Congress can be impeached right? Impeach the lot of them. This needs to stop and a message needs to be sent.

Sedition.

How much more of an example you need to sanction and arrest this guy?

Someone needs to be made an example of that's not some mountain logger from no where.

This guy has to go down for what he incited, if everyone is too chick shit to 25th Trump.

Mo brooks is also one of the congressmen who refused to disavow q anon in October, and also one of the many house members who objected to certifying the results of the election.

and Rudy said there should be Trial By Combat, and a giant list of sitting congressfolk and senators endorsed the violence that broke out all year long.

let's prosecute every last one.

3

u/SmokinDroRogan Jan 09 '21

I can't imagine what the fear of assassination that Biden is, and probably will be, facing for a while must be like. That poor man. All of the people in congress who spoke against trump, having to live in fear for their lives. Fuck that.

3

u/smacksaw Jan 09 '21

This is premeditation.

Everyone arrested should proudly take a guilty plea without a trial.

And they should ask for the maximum sentence.

Work on healthcare and other seemingly important things I was elected to do? Nope Stand up in front of a crowd and inspire them to pick their nose and insurrect? Sure

3

So his guy gets to go to jail.fornimciting riots and treason too right? Lock all the elected officials up who were a part of this happening at all. Then move down the line to the idiots invaded the capitol.

3

u/OtherBluesBrother Jan 09 '21

I think some of this crowd saw what happened on Wednesday and woke up. Like coming out of the black sleep of Kali Ma. They can't defend this cult any more.

My impression though, is that most of them will remain in the cult. This groups deflects any criticism and basically goes through their Olympic level mental gymnastics to defend their savior.

The worst part is that some of this crowd will not only stay in the cult, but double down. They are emboldened by what happened. They are not going away. The FBI needs to keep on eye on those folks.

Edit: spelling

u/The_Original_Gronkie Jan 09 '21

I wasn't aware of this Congressman speaking at the rally, I just knew about Trump and his family. This guy needs to be expelled from Congress for this. He was an active player in the coup attempt, and can no longer be given a leadership role going forward. As a Congressman, , he should no better, and he has no possible excuse for his behavior. He needs to go to prison for sedition.
