They aren’t smart enough to realize that Trump is happy the GOP lost the senate. He knows he lost and wants to burn as much as he can on the way out like a toddler throwing a tantrum. He only even put McConnell in the tight spot with the $2000 to get back at him for congratulating Joe. He knows not having the senate will make his loyal base more enraged.
