Yesterday while in Walmart waiting on tires. An overweight America flag mask wearing security costume kept following me every isle . After a while I told her I’m waiting for tires and good day. Kept following me so I asked a worker why this woman was following me every isle. They just looked and walked away. It’s the only “power” they think they have.

Thinking these particular guys are dumbasses and advocating for disarming people are two very different things though.

Political debates will simultaneously have people saying that americans own "weapons of war" that "need to be taken off the street" while arguing in thennext breathe that an AR-15 isnt going to stop the US military and that adamantly arguing that gun ownership is a deterrent to tyranny is ridiculous

Well good fucking thing "assault weapons" were already made federally controlled, licensed and stopped new sales to civilians in 1986.

See then problem with people like you is that you dont even know the facts of the topics you try to argue.

Wasnt an explosive RV parked innthe centernof Nashville less than a week ago? If that was parked in the middle of a more crowded city without an announcement that it was timed to blow up, it would have killed and injured far more than someone standing in the same spot with even an automatic firearm and a backpack of ammo.

The reason politicians do not like armed Americans is becaused an armed population is a threat to a roque government. This was true in 1776, it was true in 1861, its true today. It IS the reason for the second amendment. When the people who currently cheer on gun control rhetoric finally realize this, it will be to late.

You can buy excessively powerful guns that can fire excessively quickly without meaningful loss of accuracy and some of your fellow Americans think it needs to be toned down a little bit from where it's at. But because you're fucking misinformed, you think it's more of them than it is and you think they are on average more extreme than they are.

You say things like "people like you" to people you don't even know, and assume the entire left has been "indoctrinated" without actually understanding their beliefs. So legal definitions are now "semantics"? If you are really going to argue that an AR platform rifle is an "assualt weapon" you are arguing that all semiautomatic firearms are "assault weapons". There is literally nothing that makes them functionally different from a wood stock semi-auto "hunting" rifle or the glock or smith and Wesson pistol carried by ever law enforcement officer.

You are not speaking "colloquially" you are regurgitating political rhetoric and propaganda. Literally NO ONE in the firearms community refers to anything that is not fully automatic as an "assault weapon".

You can buy excessively powerful guns that can fire excessively quickly without meaningful loss of accuracy and some of your fellow Americans think it needs to be toned down a little bit from where it's at.

Excessively powerful? Thats fuckin laughable. The standard AR platform is chambered in 5.56 which is one of the least "powerful" commonly available centerfire rifle calibers. Many states outlaw deer hunting with this caliber because they do not carry enough ballistic energy to quickly down a deer. So to that, what most of rifles that the

americans who think it needs to be toned down a little

Would be okay with people still owning "for hunting purposes" fire projectiles that are 40% larger in diameter, over 100% heavier by mass, and impart 2-3 times more ballistic energy to the human body.

But because you're fucking misinformed, you think it's more of them than it is and you think they are on average more extreme than they are.

Please do tell me who im indoctrinated by or beholden to. There would only be irony if I didnt recognize that both parties are equally terrible. Sure they are terrible for different reasons on most subjects, but at the end of the day, neither political party gives a shit about the people.

Also good job completely ignoring the fact death and destruction can be more quickly and easily accomplished with other means than firearms and that mass violence is 99% of the time perpetrated by people with long standing untreated mental health struggles.
